This past weekend's Windy City Classic in Chicago, alongside our partners at One Movement Hoops, delivered another strong showing on the Super Circuit. The event provided an excellent platform to evaluate several new programs while also giving us updated looks at some of the top teams in the country as we continue to refine our national player and team rankings. From start to finish, the level of competition remained high, with multiple programs stepping up and making strong statements. 2030 Mac Irvin Fire Larro proved why they are among the nation's elite, showcasing a long, athletic roster complemented by strong guard play. Their ability to compete with toughness and high energy from start to finish stood out all weekend. They backed up their reputation with an impressive championship run, solidifying themselves as a group capable of challenging anyone in the country. 2031 Playmaker University impressed with their discipline and toughness, operating as a well-coached unit on both ends of the floor. Their ability to shoot at a high level while defending collectively made them a difficult matchup. What stood out most was their resilience, consistently battling through adversity and making key plays in crucial moments to capture the 2031 championship. 2032 The Family Black made a strong case as one of the top teams in their class. With elite-level guard play and a forward who anchors the interior while also impacting the game in transition, they present a complete and balanced attack. Their overall talent and versatility will make them a team to watch closely on the national stage moving forward. 2033 Hoosier Phenoms continue to separate themselves at the top of the national rankings. This group combines high-level talent with strong coaching and elite chemistry, allowing them to consistently perform at a high level. Their ability to play together and execute makes them one of the toughest teams in the country to beat. 2034 Hoosier Phenoms are following that same proven formula, showcasing a deep, talented roster from top to bottom. Their continued growth as a unit, combined with strong coaching and developing chemistry, has them positioned at the top of their class. Like their older counterparts, they will be extremely difficult for any team to overcome. 2035 Blueprint Jr 3SSB brought energy and intensity every time they stepped on the floor. This young group plays extremely hard, led by strong guard play and aggressive defense that fuels their success. They capped off a strong weekend with a championship performance, and their motor and competitiveness make them an exciting group to track throughout the season. Overall, the Windy City Classic once again proved to be a valuable stop on the circuit, highlighting both established national contenders and emerging programs. As the season continues, these teams have positioned themselves as groups to watch closely on the national landscape.
