Dylan shows improvement every time I watch him play. The last time was during the AAU season last summer. He was exclusively a scorer who hunted for shots whenever he had the opportunity. In last night's game he was the primary ball handler. He played with a combination of scoring and assisting. A majority of his passes lead to positive plays for his teammates. He also improved on defense. Dylan caused multiple turnovers when he applied pressure on the basketball. Opposing guards had a hard time beating him off the dribble or making plays. As I said, scoring the ball is this young man's talent. His shot of choice for the night was the three-ball. He finished the game with four to go along with a couple of strong drives to the basket. Dylan's an awesome guard who has a unique talent. I believe he'll become the focal point of the Indian Creek offense in the coming years.

Gavin's an excellent shooting guard who showed unlimited range. He knocked down mid-range shots, floaters and long distance threes. Gavin has the ability to beat defenders off the dribble and attack the paint. He also excelled at drawing in defenders and kicking out assists to his teammates on the perimeter. This allowed other Indian Creek players to knock down a high percentage of their open looks. Whenever the team had opportunities to score in transition, Gavin proved to be an excellent finisher. On defense, he showed quick hands and great footwork. This allowed him to stay with his opponent which made ball handling a tough task to complete. Gavin is a hardworking player who gets the job done. I believe he's an important part of Indian Creek's future success.

The big man has a nice touch from the outside. He knocked down multiple shots from the mid-range area of the floor. Eli also showed the ability to play big in the paint. He used a variety of effective post moves to score around the basket. Eli excelled at rebounding the basketball on both ends of the court. A majority of the offensive boards he grabbed ended with easy put-backs. Some of the defensive rebounds were transition starters for Indian Creek. The outlet passes he threw always seemed to be on the money. Eli is capable of extending his shooting range beyond the three-point line when the opportunity's available. He knocked down two shots from behind the arc in last night's game. Defensively, he used his size to protect the paint and make scoring difficult for the opposition. Eli blocked shots and provided Indian Creek with a physical presence.

I truly enjoy watching this young man play. He improves a different facet of his game each time I see him. Joshua continues to be a great all around player who handles the basketball, passes, rebounds, scores and defends. He easily muscles defenders to the basket and scores tough points. Joshua is very capable of becoming an elite player as he continues to grow and mature. He has an excellent floor game that allows him to show off his play-making abilities. The majority of his assists led to other Christel House teammates scoring a high percentage of their shots. Joshua was great at drawing fouls and getting to the foul-line. He did this on numerous occasions throughout the game. Whenever he had an opportunity to knock down threes, Joshua took full advantage of the situation. The biggest difference I noticed was his leadership. I never saw him be much of a vocal leader as compared to last night. Defensively, he was tenacious on the ball. His pressure forced Indian Creek guards into mistakes and turnovers. In my opinion, Joshua is a player who could become the face of the Christel House program in the coming years.

I enjoyed watching this young man run the Christel House offense last night. Chase is a shifty point guard who is capable of being a play-maker or scoring threat. He easily broke down the Indian Creek defense and made things happen. When he attacked the paint, Chase scored floaters or dished out pin-point assists. The majority of his plays led to positive outcomes for Christel House. Chase is a fearless "floor leader" who excelled as a decision maker. No matter the circumstance, he always had the team in the right situation. He showed a nice touch from the three-point line. Chase used step-back dribble moves to free himself up for clean looks. Of course, he knocked down both attempts. Defensively, Chase excelled at jumping passing lanes and applying pressure on opposing guards. He finished the game with multiple steals. Chase is an excellent player who knows how to run a team.

Coleman is an athletic wing who scores inside, attacks the glass and defends. He used a variety of moves to score in the post such as, pump-fakes and reverse lay-ups. Coleman was great at using either hand to score in the paint. In the second half of the game, I noticed a mid-range jumper that I did not see in the first. He gained position on the perimeter and knocked down this shot numerous times. Whenever Christel House had an opportunity to score in transition, Coleman finished strong at the rim. He's a great rebounder who aggressively grabbed boards on both ends of the court. A majority of his offensive rebounds led to second chance shot opportunities for his teammates. Defensively, Coleman's timing was great as it pertained to shot-blocking. He finished the game with three. When the Indian Creek players attacked the paint, guess who was there to alter their shots?

Both teams provided the audience with an outstanding game full of exciting plays. These young men stood above the rest in last night's game.
