Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top forwards/posts who caught our attention from watching the final day of the Bog Sechrest Jr. Christmas Tournament at Park Hills Central.

[player_tooltip player_id='2701091' first='Nate' last='Womack'] (Festus): The 6'8" 2027 power forward was a force in the post with a double double in the victory over Potosi in the championship game. The Big Fella used his body well to seal defenders to establish great position inside for buckets and offensive rebounders. He also did a nice job of defending inside without exposing himself to foul trouble when opposing players tried to go at him in the post. He also displayed some mobility as he got out of his area to rebound. I like Big Nate.

Colton Broadwater (Jefferson): A 6'6" 2027 forward who is one of the top players in the Jefferson County area. I like his mobility and his excellent fundamentals. He has a nice skill set which makes him very effective in the post or on the perimeter. He has a nice touch around the basket and he also operates from the high post very well. He can hit the elbow jumper and he is also a good passer in a high low set.

[player_tooltip player_id='2414268' first='Ryder' last='Gollaher'] (Farmington): A 6'4" 2027 forward who scored 21 points in the third-place game against Hillsboro. He had a strong tournament as he scored more than 20 points in the last three games. He is a good athlete who takes the ball right after defenders on the attack. He was snatching rebounds and going the length of the floor for layups. He was also hitting 3-pointers off the catch and off the dribble.

Colton Hicks (Hillsboro): A 6'6" 2027 forward who has a long and lanky frame. He scored 11 points in the Hawks victory over Farmington in the third-place game. He plays a finesse game with his mobility and soft shooting touch around the basket. He can put the ball on the floor to finish and he also keeps the ball up high on the catch to score. He also rebounds well out of his area and he throws a very good outlet pass to start the break.

[player_tooltip player_id='2846001' first='Talon' last='Watson'] (Jefferson): A versatile 6'3" 2027 small forward who can get things done in a variety of ways. He has the ability to score in the paint with either hand. He's strong enough to take the contact and keep it moving. He also catches it well on the high-low set to score. He can also get on the offensive boards. He can also operate well on the perimeter as he can shoot it from 3-point distance and also drive it effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869535' first='Andrew' last='[player_tooltip player_id='2860472' first='Robbins' last='']'] (Fredericktown): A 6'6" 2026 forward who has a big body and who plays with a blue collar style in the low post. He is a very good rebounder who will battle anybody and everybody for position. He is a good screener, which is important on a team full of very good guards.
