PXU Coyote Classic: Day 2 Standouts

Omar's bread n butter is scoring on the inside and drawing help defenders from shooters. His gravity on the court is unmatched in the post. He will either score off a post move or kick to a open shooter for a three. He is a very strong rebounder on both ends of the floor and constantly gives his team extra possessions. Omar has a high basketball IQ and is a great communicator on the floor. He is a very capable scorer and often scores when needed but, he is also a very unselfish player that is always looking for open teammates. Kingston is a hard worker on the defensive end and on the glass. He is a great rebounder for his size and is not afraid to get physical with bigger opponents. Defensively he is a pest and gets his hands on almost everything. Kingston is a leader for his team and often leads by example. He put on a scoring display vs Salpointe and would constantly get to his spots and score. He likes to get to the elbows and rise up to hit a jumper. He has a great range from beyond the arc and isn't afraid to shoot in a defenders face. Jude has the ball on a string and will use numerous dribble moves to shake defenders and get to the bucket and finish with finesse. Brexton put on a shooting display from deep he had 6 made three's on the night. He always seems to make him self available for the kick out when teammates attack the bucket. He is a great ball handler that can handle heavy on ball pressure. He is a overall high IQ ball player that constantly communicates to teammates on both ends of the court. Amir plays the game very calm and does not allow himself to get rattled. He has a real smooth jump shot from beyond the 3 or down to the midrange. He knocked down four three's most coming from a couple feet off the line. Amir is a underrated attacker as he has a great handle on the ball and is very physical on the drive. He is a plus athlete and a solid on ball defender. Donovan gets it done on the boards for his team on both ends of the floor. With his strength and athleticism he is hard to box out. When on the attack he finishes strong and above the rim. Donovan even has a real nice jump shot he hit a couple threes on the catch. Defensively he can guard the 1- 4 on the high school level. Donovan is a very versatile defender with his length and speed. John's IQ for the game is on another level from his competitors as he seems to see the game before it happens. He is a true three level scoring threat that goes on his own personal scoring runs. His footwork is next level and it allows him to get into the paint and create contact to get to the line.
