Legacy Longhorns Roll Past Valley 82–60 at the Tip-Off Classic

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Legacy Longhorns won their second game of the season on Thursday night against the Valley Vikings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They were led by [player_tooltip player_id='2635490' first='Grayson' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='1945332' first='Lennox' last='Grayson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2288366' first='Jordyn' last='Perdue'], and Nehemiah Williamson. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Their shooting, defensive pressure, and overall effort helped them get the win. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As they hit seven 3-pointers throughout the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They also utilized their athleticism to come up with steals when pressing. He also does a solid job of finding the open space on the floor to give himself plenty of quality opportunities. Grayson's wingspan and athleticism are also useful on the defensive end. If he needs to close a gap he can, and he's also able to alter shots thanks to his vertical. He utilizes his size, frame, and strength to crash the boards and consistently come up with rebounds. He can also score when he gets open near the block or by flashing into the paint. He connected on three triples and used his speed to get to the cup several times.
