The Outer Banks is a basketball town and Chad Williams, the Head Coach and Director of Athletics at First Flight High School is the spitting image of the basketball culture there. He's full of love and passion for the game and has helped bring an incredible event to his home for an incredible cause. Good Guys Vs Cancer has become a tradition in the OBX where talent from all across NC and the country come together to hoop for the greater good. Let's take a look at some of the top shooters from the event this weekend.

Moore is a dynamic off the bounce shot-maker with deep range and a couple of go-to moves that allow him to get separation whenever he wants. Moore is at his best when he's engaged on the glass, in the 2nd game of the weekend, Moore was a real presence on the boards finishing with 8 rebounds, this allowed him to be engaged early and active as a weapon offensively. Moore loves the step back going left after a dead dribble, he is so comfortable shooting off of that. Moore found a way to not force the issue and still get it done at a high volume. In their first game of the weekend, Moore's shot wasn't falling but he was a consistent two way presence in the game. Moore is an advanced sniper in NC that should continue to see his recruitment maintain it's activity throughout the high school season.

Carlyle shoots on such a high volume that its legitimately impressive to watch him find a way to get up the shots that he does. Carlyle excels in Chad Williams uptempo system where he's ready to shoot at all times, can create offense with the ball in his hands at 6'6" and really contribute on the glass. Carlyle is still growing into his frame, I think we'll see more and more progression, especially defensively in his game as that happens. Carlyle also has a mid-range pull up game that isn't really on display a ton because of the style that is played, in college, he'll be able to showcase that part of his game too.

Shuram came to the Outer Banks with enough confidence for the whole island. He came out firing from distance and connecting on huge shots time after time for his team. Shuram hit 15 3s in 3 games and did them from way beyond the arc if needed. He is extremely tough, plays the game with a ton of passion, and is clearly capable of breaking a game open with his shooting. He can make plays off the bounce, he has some touch around the rim and is a pest defensively. In our first viewing of Shuram, he really impressed, now we're excited to track this young shooter from Texas from afar and when he comes back to NC to hoop.

Winborne is such a key piece for this Greenfield team and when he's shooting efficiently from the outside, they're really really difficult to beat. Winborne has a really great chemistry with [player_tooltip player_id='1280933' first='Kobe' last='Edwards'], allowing him to get those extra quality looks off the playmaking from his PG. Kobe knows where Johnny is at all times and it leads to momentum swinging and timely threes for Greenfield. Winborne clearly has had a boost in confidence heading into his junior year, he is more than ready for this major role on a state title contender.

Roach was a really pleasant surprise in the Southeast Raleigh lineup blending his size and physicality with his outside touch. He was able to lead the Bulldogs in scoring on the night by connecting on corner 3s at a high rate and simply being in the right place at the right time. Roach's size was a factor defensively and on the glass as well, he knows how to use his body to carve out space underneath. On a team with a lot of talent, especially on the wing and in the 2028 class, Roach provides something the others don't a blend of real physicality with outside touch, and able to be productive on a low volume. Expect his role to steadily grow throughout the year, and Southeast to utilize him to exploit different mismatches.
