On Monday, November 10tj we released our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings. Over the course of the last few months we have continued to evaluate across summer grassroots events, fall showcases and leagues, and our travels to specific high schools to watch their preseason workouts. As always, we look to update our rankings every few months and we wanted to get this latest update done before the start of the upcoming high school season. We were able to expand a bit from ranking the Top 100 to the Top 125 while adding 50 prospects in total bringing the Class of 2027 database to over 500 prospects. Over the course of this week we will be diving deeper into the rankings by highlighting stock-risers, new names, top watch list names, and much more. Let's dive on in.

We continue to buy more and more stock in Bowers. First off, it is hard to come across legitimately 6'9"-6'10" centers. Secondly, he has some legitimate interior skill to get excited about. He is a guy that you can throw it to on the roll or rim run and expect him to finish it. Bowers is pretty fluid for his size, shows the ability to rebound outside of his area, and can block shots at a high level. As he continues to get stronger he will on blossom further. Look for him to have a monster season at Covenant Christian this winter.

Day really came into his own over the summer and appears ready for a breakout junior season at Brownsburg High School. He was a consistent standout across several different events including UA Rise Circuit events with Progeny, various showcase events, and the Metro Indy Fall League. The super athletic 6'4" wing is an excellent driver, creates matchup problems for opponents, and projects as a very good, multi-positional defender.

When discussing upside, Henderson has as much as just about anyone in the class. The 6'6" forward continues to grow rapidly and definitely should still have a couple of inches to go. He rebounds the ball well and is an above the rim finisher, but also can stretch the floor out beyond the three-point line. Henderson was a key piece of University's run to the Class 2A State Finals as a sophomore and is a big reason for their optimism heading into 2025-2026.

Partenheimer had some big performances over the summer both on the grassroots circuit and with Forest Park High School at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. The 6'8" forward standouts immediately with his combination of size and shooting ability. He projects as a pick-and-pop threat at the next level. However, he also was more advanced in the post than we expected which was a big reason for his rise to #36 in the prospect rankings.

The sky is the limit for how high Renn can continue to climb. He continues to grow, now standing at 6'6" with impressive length, while retaining his guard skill. Renn can serve as a secondary playmaker in the half court with an impressive repertoire of moves off of the bounce. He uses his length well at the end of his drives to get up and finish around the rim. Terre Haute North High School should be very good again this season and Renn is set for a breakout year.

One of the more talented playmakers in Indiana's Class of 2027, Thomas will lead a trio of juniors in this Crispus Attucks High School backcourt this season. The 5'11" point guard is an explosive driver that finishes well around the basket at the end of his drives. He should put up some big offensive numbers this season and begin to attract college attention. Thomas is now ranked #37 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings.

This left-handed forward really broke out late in the summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] on the UA Rise Circuit. His skill level at 6'7" is very intriguing for college coaches across all levels. He can stretch the floor beyond the arc, has some natural passing ability, and uses his size to finish over his right shoulder in the paint. Look for Wagner to have a big junior season for Valparaiso. He moved up several spots in our rankings to #31 in this update.
