Faces in New Places (Transfers)

Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of transfers who figure to have a positive impact at their new schools. Here are some of those faces in new places. We will continue to add to the list as we come across more new names.   [player_tooltip player_id='2894779' first='Brock' last='Bass-Bonner'] (Cardinal Ritter): A 6'8" 2027 small forward who comes to St. Louis from the Atlanta area where he was an All-State performer as a sophomore. The young lefty is a highly-skilled player on the perimeter with his ability to handle the ball and hit 3-pointers. He can also rebound and block shots at a high level.   [player_tooltip player_id='1850452' first='Landon' last='Van Pelt'] (Oak Park): A 6'9" 2026 post player who is at Oak Park after three years at Lee's Summit. The robust 270-pounder will give the Northmen some strong post presence this season. He can be a physical force around the basket, but he can also run the court and hit a perimeter jumper.   [player_tooltip player_id='2117605' first='Cannon' last='Thornhill'] (Marshfield): A 6'2" 2026 point guard who comes from Aurora to Marshfield, where his father is the new head coach. He is a slick ball handler who can score from all three levels. He averaged more than 18 points a game as a junior at Aurora.   [player_tooltip player_id='2920307' first='Mo' last='Kourama'] (Chaminade): A 6'8" 2028 forward who comes to the Red Devils from Colorado. He will bring athleticism and a high motor the front court, which will ease the loss of forwards Jahidi and Jamison White, who transferred to East St. Louis.   LJ Torrence (North Kansas City): A 6'7 2027 forward who comes to NKC after helping KIPP KC Legacy to a berth in the Class 3 state championship game last season. He has good size to go along with a smooth jumper and the ability to score inside.   [player_tooltip player_id='2885248' first='Adones' last='Smith'] (St. Charles): A 6'4" 2026 shooting guard who was at North Point last season. He has good size and athleticism along with three-level scoring ability. He averaged 14 points a game last season as a junior.   Michael Cruthird Ill (North Kansas City): A 6'2 point guard who comes to NKC from Grandview. He is a dynamic young athlete with good playmaking and scoring ability. He can create and also shoot it from distance.   [player_tooltip player_id='2339267' first='Jayden' last='Woods'] (Webster Groves): A 6'2" 2027 guard who was a two-year standout at Lutheran St. Charles. He is an explosive athlete who averaged 22 points a game as a sophmore.   [player_tooltip player_id='2569193' first='Braiden' last='Alford'] (Vashon): A 6'2" 2028 guard who joins the Wolverines after playing his freshman year at CBC. Vashon will be getting a dynamic offensive player who can score at all three levels and create his own shot off the dribble.   Brice Millien (Webster Groves): A 6'1 2027 guard who comes over from CBC. He is a potent offensive player with good quickness and shot creation. He can score from all three levels. He can handle the ball and stretch the floor from 3-point range.   [player_tooltip player_id='2719502' first='Howard' last='Chase'] (Oak Park): A 5'10" 2026 point guard who will join a talented backcourt at Oak Park, where he will add his speed and quickness. He averaged 10 points a game as a junior at Liberty.   Jamel Foster (McCluer North): A 6'5" 2027 forward who comes to North from Hazelwood Central. He is a high energy player who rebounds the ball at a high level at both ends of the court. He will bring size and athleticism to the Stars' front court.   [player_tooltip player_id='2637336' first='Derrick' last='Murray'] (Lift for Life): A 5'9" 2028 point guard who comes to Lift for Life after a strong freshman season at Normandy. He has excellent quickness and he also plays with a lot of toughness.   [player_tooltip player_id='2915702' first='Jahsear' last='Horsley'] (Battle): A 6'1" 2028 guard who moves from Hickman to Battle where he will join the Spartans' corps of talented and athletic guards. He is a dynamic young athlete with a strong motor.   [player_tooltip player_id='2452522' first='Cooper' last='Brown'] (Father Tolton): A 6'3" 2027 guard who is stepping up in school class as he comes to Tolton from Class 1 Prairie Home. He is a high energy player who has dynamic athleticism. He attacks the basket hard and he has 3-point shooting range.   [player_tooltip player_id='2717754' first='Will' last='Baugus'] (Puxico): A 6'7 2026 post player who comes to Puxico from East Carter. At 250 pounds, he will give the Indians a big, physical presence in the post to compliment its dynamic backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='2539650' first='Landan' last='Burchard'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2843261' first='Jett' last='Hancock'].   Drew Fowler (Malden): A 5'9 2026 guard who will be following his father Steve, who became the new head coach at Malden. Drew is proven sharpshooter who can fill it up from long distance.   Noah Siebert (Campbell): A 6'1 2026 forward who comes over from Warsaw. He is a tough competitor who averaged a team high eight rebounds in helping Warsaw win a district championship in Class 3 last season.
