CP3NMSC Central (IND) Superlatives: 7th Grade Ball-Handlers

Lebanon, IN — The CP3 Central National Middle School Combine brought together some of the top young prospects from across the Midwest, each eager to showcase their talent on a big stage. The 7th grade division, featuring players from the class of 2031, was loaded with skill, energy, and competitiveness from start to finish. As we continue our 7th grade coverage, we shift our focus to the top ball-handlers — guards who displayed strong control, court vision, and the ability to make plays under pressure throughout the event.    Carter Blue showcased his advanced ball-handling and ability to command the floor as a true lead guard at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. He consistently beat defenders off the dribble using a smooth blend of hesitation moves, crossovers, and change of pace. Blue demonstrated strong court awareness, controlling the tempo and dictating the flow of the offense with poise. His decision-making stood out, as he knew when to score and when to facilitate for teammates. Confident, skilled, and composed, Blue proved to be one of the more polished floor generals in attendance.     Jagger Jones was a high-level ball-handler throughout the duration of the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. He consistently created separation from defenders with his tight handle, quick first step, and ability to change speeds effectively. Jones made impressive plays off the dribble, both scoring and setting up teammates, showing great poise under pressure. His confidence and control with the basketball allowed him to dictate the pace of the game and make smart reads in key moments. Defenders struggled to contain him, as he repeatedly broke them down and made things happen for his team.     Ashton Strong showed his ability to effectively run a team from the lead guard position at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. He demonstrated an advanced understanding of floor spacing and where defenders were at all times, allowing him to make sharp reads and deliver timely passes to teammates. Strong's court vision and basketball IQ stood out, as he consistently controlled the tempo and orchestrated the offense with maturity beyond his age. His poise, awareness, and leadership made him one of the most reliable guards at the combine.     Kai Watson was one of the top playmakers from the guard position at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. His complete offensive arsenal made him a constant challenge for defenders, as he consistently broke down defenses with his handle, quickness, and creativity. Watson showcased great court vision and awareness, often making high-level plays for both himself and his teammates. Whether attacking the rim or setting up others, he maintained control and confidence with the basketball, proving to be one of the most dynamic guards this weekend.     Kallen Wilkerson proved to be a skilled, crafty, and shifty lead guard throughout the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. He consistently used his tight handle and quick decision-making to break down defenses, showing an ability to both score and create opportunities for others. Wilkerson's confidence with the ball and feel for the game allowed him to control tempo and dictate pace, making him a constant offensive threat.
