CP3NMSC Central (IND) Superlatives: 7th Grade Athletes

Lebanon, IN — The CP3 Central National Middle School Combine showcased some of the top prospects from across the Midwest, bringing together young talent eager to make their mark. The 7th grade division, featuring players from the class of 2031, was full of athletes who impressed with their athleticism, energy, and impact on both ends of the floor. We begin our 7th grade coverage with a look at the top athletes from the 2031 class who stood out throughout the event...    William Barnett used his advanced athleticism on both ends of the floor to his advantage at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. His athletic ability allowed him to be a reliable scoring option offensively while also defending multiple positions at a high level. Barnett consistently showed he could impact the game through energy, speed, and versatility whenever he was on the floor. He excelled in transition, finished plays above the rim, and played with a motor that never slowed down. With continued refinement, Barnett's athletic profile and two-way impact give him major long-term potential.     Jayden Jefferson was arguably the biggest breakout prospect at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. His athleticism immediately stood out, allowing him to score at all three levels and finish above the rim with ease. Jefferson was extremely difficult to contain in transition, constantly applying pressure on opposing defenses. With his physical tools, scoring versatility, and continuing upward trajectory, he carries significant long-term upside.     Liam Lockley's athleticism was on full display at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. He consistently used his bounce and explosiveness to score the ball at a high level, whether attacking downhill, finishing above the rim, or knocking down shots in space. Defensively, Lockley's quickness and lateral speed allowed him to guard multiple positions effectively while disrupting plays with his activity. His overall athletic profile played a major role in his success throughout the combine and gives him a strong foundation for continued growth moving forward.     Jonathan “JJ” Moore was one of the top long-term prospects at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine, standing out with his impressive athleticism and overall impact. His ability to get downhill and finish through contact was on full display, and he showed confidence attacking from different spots on the floor. Moore consistently turned defense into offense, using his length and quickness to create steals and transition opportunities. On the defensive end, he applied steady pressure on the ball and disrupted passing lanes, making life difficult for opposing guards.     Treshon Sudsberry showcased one of the most impressive athletic profiles at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine, using his strength, burst, and energy to make a consistent impact throughout the event. He imposed his will offensively, powering through smaller defenders and finishing strong around the rim while also showing flashes of touch in the mid-range area.
