The HoopState has many different sub sections that are known for producing different types of talent. The 919 area has become synonymous with elite PG play and early on in the 25-26 season, it's easy to see why. The area is littered with guys across all four classes making things happen. Let's take a look at some of the guys in the area off to a strong start this season.

Morman is an extremely gifted player that scores it from every level, has elite feel, is a dynamic athlete, and is starting to become aware of how good he is. Morman plays with extremely high level pace. He knows how to change speeds, understands situations, and does a great job of balancing his scoring and playmaking to help guide his team to a win. He finished with a 30 point performance in a win over Southeast Raleigh, setting the tone for the Sophomore to have a massive season. There's no doubt his recruiting will continue to pick up and that offer list will grow considerably in the next 6-12 months.

Kuppinen has done a great job early on this season blending his shotmaking with his responsibilities running the team. He had a big performance in a win vs Sanderson where he finished with 26 points and went 10-10 from the free throw line. He looks to be gelling in with the lineup well, he's establishing great chemistry with big man [player_tooltip player_id='2415282' first='Josh' last='Conti'] and it looks to have Millbrook primed for another deep run. Expect Kuppinen to rack up big performances and continue to establish himself as one of the best guards in the 919 area.

Coon helping lead the charge at Fuquay-Varina who looks like an early candidate for being one of NC's most improved teams. They've already matched last season's win total and Beckett's shooting and playmaking are leading the charge. A quick trigger, deep range, and a ton of confidence, Beckett provides so much spacing for other guys and himself to work off the bounce. He's comfortable playing with a high usage for heavy minutes, and is looking to take Fuquay to the type of season they haven't had in a long long time.

Green has become one of the area's top PG's and he's been just putting in consistent work while being a steady producer on a team that consistently wins. Green can pull up from distance but he's at his best getting to the paint where he's a crafty finisher with great touch on his runners/floaters. He also has great vision, applies a ton of ball pressure, and is a great leader. Green has had the ball in his hands at Friendship for three years now and he's got them primed as a state championship sleeper in his senior year.

Whitner is another guy that just has so much high level varsity experience that you basically know what you're getting every single time he steps onto the floor. He's got the ability to heat up from the outside and he can be streaky from there but ultimately shoots it from outside at a pretty efficient rate. Defensively he brings a ton of energy and pressure to go with his speed being extremely useful in transition. Whitner should continue to garner recruiting attention as he stacks big performances up like that 29 point game vs Apex Friendship last week.
