The Central Catholic senior wing could always shoot the ball, but now having grown now to almost 6-foot-8 his combination of shooting skills and size have drawn plenty of attention from onlookers.
"Playing AAU ball with the [program_tooltip program_id='2850997' first='Cascade' last='Kings'] was a great experience, just putting us all on the map was a great goal in general, and I've just been training and working with all my teammates and ready to come back to Central this year," Miller said. "Definitely training and working with Joe and Straight Bucket Performance has really helped me with all my body problems and I'm getting stronger every day. My catch and shoot has been good and I've been able to get off the ball a lot more and just drive more and I'm just more strong in my body."

Miller put his skills on display this fall at the PrepHoops Oregon Expo and earned First Team All-Event honors. It was an opportunity seized and one he thoroughly enjoyed. "It was good," Miller said. "It was a great experience to have everybody out there and it was just a great thing that y'all put on."

The recruiting process got off to a bit of a late start for Miller, but he's been talking to schools and more are coming aboard. He mentioned he's been talking to Menlo College in California the most right now as well as a number of others from Oregon. He's keeping all conversations open while looking for the right fit - and that may include some post-grad options.

"I think either take a gap year or a prep school year to just develop or just go straight to a place I want to go to," Miller said. "I'm wide open."

While his recruitment brews in he background, Miller is looking forward to this upcoming year. Like many Rams, he knows about the expectations and the rumblings outside but the focus remains inside the program. "We're definitely coming out," Miller said. "All these people hating on us but we're all behind Coach Blue so it's going to be a good time."

Miller currently ranks as the #11 player in the recently updated Class of 2026 rankings.
