CP3NMSC Central (IND) Superlatives: 8th Grade Rebounders

Lebanon, IN — The CP3 Central National Middle School Combine wrapped up on Sunday, capping a weekend filled with competition, energy, and standout performances from the Midwest's rising talent. With so many young prospects battling to showcase their skill and toughness, one area that truly separated players was their presence on the glass. In part four of our coverage, we turn our attention to the top rebounders from the class of 2030, players who controlled the boards, created second-chance opportunities, and showed relentless effort every time a shot went up...    Landon Baldwin stood out as the top rebounder at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine, and for good reason. As the tallest prospect in attendance, Baldwin used his size and length to dominate the glass on both ends of the floor. He established deep positioning inside, boxing out effectively to secure boards and keep possessions alive offensively. Defensively, he was a wall around the rim, cleaning up missed shots and limiting second-chance opportunities for opponents. His size, timing, and awareness made him a constant force in the paint throughout the event.     Taylor Basler was a consistent presence on the boards at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine, excelling on both the offensive and defensive glass. He consistently positioned himself well, using timing and awareness to secure key rebounds for his team. Basler's strong hands and ability to control the ball in traffic allowed him to extend possessions and prevent second-chance opportunities for opponents. His rebounding instincts and effort level made him one of the more dependable interior players at the combine.     Beckett Baylor used his size and length to establish himself as a dominant rebounder throughout the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. His physical presence and strength allowed him to control the glass consistently, securing rebounds on both ends of the floor. Baylor's ability to read the ball off the rim and position himself effectively was impressive, showing that rebounding is one of his strongest attributes. His activity around the basket and commitment to winning possessions stood out as key elements of his performance.     Blake Keis made his presence felt in the low post at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine, using his size and strength to control the paint. One of his biggest contributions came on the glass, where he consistently outmuscled opponents to secure rebounds for his team. Keis positioned himself well on both ends of the floor and showed a knack for grabbing tough boards in traffic. His physicality and effort around the rim made him a dependable interior force throughout the weekend.     Jayden Thompson used his impressive length to dominate the glass at the 2025 CP3 Central Middle School Combine. His long wingspan allowed him to secure rebounds from multiple spots on the floor, even when he wasn't in ideal position. Thompson consistently outworked smaller defenders, pulling down boards in traffic and keeping possessions alive.
