He was the type of player that was willing to do the little things. It looked like it was about winning and that's more than commendable at a showcase event. He was solid as a primary ball handler, effectively breaking pressure with the bounce. Vandaele was able to push the pace with the dribble as well. He really looked fundamentally sound throughout the afternoon. Trombley was sound and under control when advancing the ball and made the right play when initiating the offense. He was at his best, and very effective, when playing a downhill style. Watts ran the floor, kept it spread and showed that he could finish on the break. When finishing, Watts showed athleticism and body control. He was an explosive multi level scorer. Smith even showed that he can finish above the rim. He was able to get out on the break and finish as well. First, I liked his handles. He didn't over dribble or try to be needlessly flashy, but instead kept the ball protected and got to his spots. He made good decisions up top with the ball and seemed to naturally understand ball movement. He was definitely a bouncy multi level scorer. Whyms was all over the offensive glass and was really willing to battle under the rim for put back buckets.
