Miles was probably the most athletic prospect on this Memphis Blazers team that I was able to watch on Saturday and Sunday. He knows which opponents he can beat to the basket and when to cut at the right time for an open alley-oop or dunk. Helton was effective in isolation coverage and was able to constantly bully his way into the paint due to his athleticism and size.

Josh was the primary ballhandler and offensive playmaker for this Blazers squad. Marable was effective handling the ball under pressure and was able to beat the full court press defense with his quick decision making and shifty dribble moves. Marable hit several jumpers off the dribble and was able to create for him and his teammates. Look for him to be the top playmaker on the Memphis Blazers 16u moving forward.

Kason was a knockdown shooter, especially from long range in the Blazers' key wins this weekend. Thomas will pull up and hit every jumper he takes if left any space by the defense and he is not afraid to be the one to shoot the clutch thee point bomb at the end of the game if his team needs a bucket. Thomas also knows how to play good perimeter fundamental defense and turn the intensity up when pressuring ballhandlers. His constant off-ball movement contributes to his ability to get open on the long-range jumpers.

Dorian was the man holding down the middle for Memphis all tournament long. He was constantly able to alter shots and make the offense change their approach with his aggressiveness and big frame under the rim. Trammell had a good variety of post moves he used on offense to score at the basket and finish through tough and-one contact. Dorian had a good motor and was also a good fastbreak option for the Blazers as he was running his lanes correctly and knew how to get easy buckets for his squad.
