2028 Rankings New Additions.

PH NorCal has updated the class of 2028 Rankings. It's not always easy to see this young group. Some log good minutes on the Varsity, some will play varsity but don't see a lot of playing. It's during the Spring, and Summer of club basketball we'll get a glimpse of these prospects. Overtime they'll grow their skill set, game, and body.    He's a long wing prospect at 6'3, square shoulders, with a growing body. He was an Honorable Mention in the tough EBAL as a Freshman. He'll be playing with the Oakland Soldiers EYBL 15. He can handle and pass in the open court. He has good movement, and can maneuver his way in for points in the paint. He has 3-point range. We'll see more.     Kirsch Lopez was brought up to the Varsity late season. He was a contributor right away off the bench for the teams deep play-off run. Standing 6'6, he has good movement, and understanding of his role. A good passer/ball mover, he set solid screens before drifting out to hit the short jumper, or sliding in to finish going to the rim.     A Long guard usually works off ball. He can handle, does a good job of passing, and cutting across the lane setting up for shots in the corners, and along the perimeter. He's shot ready, and will shoot the 3 if open. He's an alert defender, good on ball, helps weak side, hands up going out on shooters. 10ppg according to stat.     A good size guard who aggressively looks to put points on the board at the 16U level. He has speed, good handles, and a body to use for hard drives to the basket. He can come at you from the baseline, along the perimeter, and with speed in transition. He hits the paint, and mid-range jumper off the dribble. At 6'2 he's a triple threat from the high post.     Still raw at this point, he found a way to be a contributor when he's on the court. He's 6'4 and growing. He gives good effort defending inside, he has the length to distract shooters, and change some shots. He'll get his shot off going up off two feet. A good off season of skill development, foot work, offensive and defense will be key as he continues to grow. We'll keep an eye on his progress.
