Top Performers at NGS Who Got Next Tip-Off

With top talent competing against each other they were able to show why they are ranked or why they should be ranked. Here are a few players that stood out the most throughout the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://coast2coastpreps.com/players/yoda-josh-mcgill/">Yoda “Josh” McGill</a> (2029)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yoda McGill showed his ability to be an elite scorer. Whether it be creating his own shot off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations. Shifty moves combined with a quick first step and a clip from deep proved to be a problem for opposing teams. He had multiple double digit games this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://coast2coastpreps.com/players/xavier-james/">Xavier James</a> (2032)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Xavier James showed an all around offensive game. From posting up smaller defenders down low to iso game on the perimeter when defenders switched. Great footwork downlow and the ability to create his own shot off the dribble, he killed teams from the mid range.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://coast2coastpreps.com/players/symeon-watson/">Symeon Watson</a> (2029)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Symeon Watson showed his all around game all weekend. Utilizing his length in passing lanes and to protect the rim deterring opponents. Grabbing boards and pushing in transition for easy buckets. On offense, knocking down shots beyond the arc and finding cutters from the high post.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://coast2coastpreps.com/players/micah-smith/">Micah Smith</a> (2031)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Micah Smith showcased his athleticism and size. With solid rim protection, defending without fouling, and grabbing boards on both sides of the ball.
