5A State Tourney: SEPA Prospects to Scout in 2nd Round

This season he averaged 12 points per contest and posted five games where he has scored 15 or more points. Campbell notched a season high 20 points (2 3PM) in win over Mifflin County. This athletic and quick guard with solid finishing skills can generate points in transition. In the half-court, Campbell does an impressive job of using his accurate 3-point shooting to set up his dribble drive attacks on the rim. Then during Western York's four post season games, Cristofoletti increased his scoring line to 15.5 points per contest. It should not come a surprise that across this recent stretch of stellar play, Cristofoletti splashed threes from all around the arc. When he is not lacing treys, Cristofoletti can work as a dependable secondary ball handler who can create off the bounce for himself and teammates. Those assets combined with Doctor's attacking style enable him to frequently cap fast breaks with crowd pleasing dunks. Doctor can also finish with a smooth Euro-step for a lay-up. A sizable percentage of those fast breaks are generated by Doctor slicing through a passing lane for a steal. On half-court possessions, Doctor can stroke mid-range jumpers, catch alley-oops along the baseline and cut back door for lay-ins. Plus, Doctor will splash the occasional 3-ball. On the hoops court, Hughes operates as traditional small forward, providing an interior presence at both ends of the court. Offensively, his points come via dives to the rim, operating in the dunker and by filling a lane on the fast break. Additionally, Hughes can use his positioning skills and smooth footwork to score on post ups. This season Hughes was a 1^st Team All-Suburban One League selection (Freedom Division). Last week Hughes was a key part of UM's 1^st Round 5A win over Abington Heights as he posted a stat line of 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
