Good news, Ellzy appears ready to step up and fill the void. He is a fantastic off the dribble scorer who can use his speed and elusive dribble moves to get all the way to the rim. Or Ellzy can blow past his defender and then slam on the breaks for a mid-range pull up. He also owns an effective fadeaway jumper that is rare among high school players. Ellzy gets downhill quickly and can push the rock on the break for scores or assists. He frequently will grab a defensive rebound and then go coast-to-coast for a hoop or an assist. Freeman owns long strides, so he appears to glide up and down the court. In the half-court, Freeman can produce points via straight line drives to the cup. When he plays off the ball, Freeman can slash backdoor for a lay-in. Freeman has the tenacity and quick second jump to work the offensive glass for points too. Lyn is a highly accurate three-point shooter who will stretch the floor for the Kangaroos. His logo distance range and quick trigger make him extremely difficult to guard. In addition to popping threes, Lyn can put the ball on the deck and get to his mid-range spots or all the way to the hoop. He is an absolute sniper from behind the arc. In fact, this fall Freeman has posted several games where he drained 4 or more made threes. Plus, Oliver can use his quick burst and tight handles to blow past his man and get to rim. Once there, he can finish through contact or with a creative touch.
