AAB Showcase 2025 Standouts

PH NorCal was at Dominican College in San Rafael, CA, for the NorCal AAB Showcase. There were 6 showcase games, after the drills and skills clinic, run by college coaches. Here we have the 2025 standouts with a couple of newcomers to add to PH NorCal.    He was an active player on both sides of the court. He can play multiple positions, inside or out though his handles can use some tightening. He was hard to guard in the paint finishing around the rim including dunks. He used jab steps, ball fakes to drive the paint from the perimeter. He runs the court, goes after rebounds. He has a jump shot.     He's a wiry guard with a good skill set. He did some slashing and cutting to finish around the rim. He beat the defender with a good first step attacking the basket with high off the glass layups, he dropped a couple of 3's, has a good mid-range jumper, he can handle up top.     He's a wide body with deliberate movements working in the post area. He plays well when balanced. He goes up strong for points around the rim. He uses his body to bump and bang to defend and get rebounds. He's a screener, and good passer. He keeps the ball high, he can be a go to target inside.     He has the size and body to be a target in the post with more skill development. He uses his body to defend, and work around the rim going after rebounds. He had a couple short corner jump shots. He set solid screens, moved the ball. He showed some aggressiveness inside.     He's a hustling prospect, always seems to be running down loose balls. He has a solid body with a good skill set to play both guard positions. He's aggressive looking for his shots using hard dribbles, his body, and cross overs attacking from the perimeter. He dropped a couple of 3's in transition, and coming off screens, he's got a midrange jumper. He's a rebounding guard.
