June 21st-23rd I attended the annual prestigious Section-7 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale,AZ. There were 160+ teams from across the West and some out of the area and it is one of the biggest live period that college coaches can view high school teams. It is basically the Super Bowl of HS basketball in the West for three days. The local teams held their own and Millennium even won one of the top brackets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1491233' first='Will' last='Feagles'] Notre Dame Prep

A super athletic scoring guard flies on the break with his track and field background and will outrace most. He can score with threes off the catch and get downhill. He can also post up and moves without the ball well to open spots in the defense. He rebounds well and can defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2302768' first='Hayden' last='Stebbins'] Notre Dame Prep (Pictured)

A strong scoring guard with good length and quicker feet to defend. He is a catch and shoot three point sniper and plays the game the right way. He can rattle in threes one by one (Including a clutch one vs Casteel) and he consistently moves without the ball. He can get downhill and will then find a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369213' first='Amare' last='King'] Casteel

A quickly improving taller combo guard is athletic to defend and score. He will score with mid-range jumpers, catch and shoot threes and will drive the lane with his frame and tight handle in traffic to score. He absorbs the contact and finishes it off or gets fouled. He is also a very good passer timing it perfectly in stride to a cutter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369218' first='Gavin' last='Dabney'] Higley

A bigger scoring combo guard plays on or off the ball with his point guard not playing. He is a really good passer with a high feel for the game. He makes shots from mid to the three point line and can throw it down on the break. He is a very good rebounder using his thicker frame and strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='1364929' first='Jackson' last='Hunter'] Liberty

A good sized wing forward plays a lot of 2G and can score points in a hurry. He gets hot quickly from deep beyond the three point line and will rise up in a blink of an eye. He will fall away from mid-range and rebounds well in his area. He can get to the basket off the dribble and he is one of the focal points this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2279895' first='Stephan' last='Miller'] Liberty

A scoring guard with athleticism and length. He is a three level scorer with catch threes, he attacks the rim with tough moves in the paint thru contact and pull-up from mid-range. He will defend multiple positions and is a tough cover.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150852' first='DeNali' last='McNeal'] Canyon View

A true combo guard who plays on of off the ball. He can get downhill and absorb the bump to score or get to the free throw line. He made a couple full court passes on a dime perfectly in stride. He rebounds well his thicker build/frame and will push the rock. He can dunk it on the break and he will crossover and get into the paint and score with a runner.
