<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687823' first='Thomas' last='Adams'], Sandia</strong>: As we've mentioned before, Adams is one of the best all-around player sin the Albuquerque Metro Region and his shooting from beyond the arc is more evidence of that. Adams made 41.3 percent of his 3-point attempts in 2023-24, one of the top percentages in Class 5A. </p>

<p><strong>Jordan Casarez, Hobbs</strong>: Casarez made just 10 3-pointers in 2023-24 but his accuracy was uncanny. He connected on 10-of-16 3-point attempts for an impressive 62.5 percent success rate.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2373616' first='Shamus' last='Hogue'], Kirtland Central</strong>: Hogue had the sixth-most 3-pointers in Class 4A last season. What stands out is his accuracy. He connected on 40.2 percent of his 3-point attempts (43-107).</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687821' first='Jesus' last='Licon'], Highland</strong>: Licon's No. 1 job for the Hornets is to drain 3-pointers and force the defense to spread the floor. He does a great job at that as he hit a staggering 146 3-pointers (out of 388 attempts) – by far the most in the state in both categories - in 2023-24 to help lead the Hornets to the Class 4A title. He averaged close to 5 3-pointers per game.</p>

<p><strong>Jordan Lopez, Pojoaque Valley</strong>: Lopez made 35.8 percent of his 3-point attempts (24-67) last season</p>

<p><strong>Adrian Luna, Santa Teresa</strong>: Luna was one of the most accurate 3-point shooters in southern New Mexico in 2023-24, connecting on 44.8 percent of his attempts (13-29).</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2827470' first='Emmitt' last='McDaniel'], Organ Mountain</strong>: McDaniel made the most of his 3-point attempts in 2023-24 as he helped lead OMHS to the Class 5A state championship game. He made 26-of-63 3-point attempts, a 41.3 success rate. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1540114' first='Carter' last='Monroe'], Valley</strong>: Monroe made 37.5 percent of his 3-point attempts (27-72) last season as Valley reached the Class 4A state championship game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717253' first='Francois' last='Satchivi'], Del Norte</strong>: As a sophomore in 2023-24, Satchivi made 37 percent of his 3-point shots, connecting on 40-of-108 shots from beyond the arc. Del Norte looks to bounce back in 2024-25 behind Satchivi and other shooting stars. </p>

<p><strong>Gabriel Valerio, Belen</strong>: Valerio connected on 33 percent of his 3-point attempts last season, making 31-of-94 attempts. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717327' first='Braylon' last='Vega'], Hobbs</strong>: The Eagles should be a formidable team in 2024-25 and Vega, just a sophomore last season, should have a major role. Last season he connected on 54 3-pointers and made 37.7 of his shots from beyond the arc. </p>
