Players Emerging
Eckman has been able to play with some freedom this spring with The Salt Lake Rebels . He is handling the ball well and I really like how he is taking what the defense is giving him. he is making good use of the space he is given hitting shots and he is attacking well when defenders get too high. He has shown some really good signs of improvement.
Highlights
Sorensen made me look twice because the kid is skilled. He has looked good this spring with a mixture of skills in his bag. He has a very quick release but it is under control and he has his feet under him when he shoots the ball. He does get out on the break and spreads the floor with his shooting. In the open floor he does keep it simple but he has different finishing moves he can tap into. Vision is something that he does have that really make shim an all-around player that could make his way up the rankings. He is a player to watch this summer.
Next man up in Logan as Woolley has a shot to really make some noise. He is still raw but he has some fundamental skills that will help him see the floor. He will need to put on a little muscle but the kid has a chance.
Highlights
Kazemini has a nice lefty jumper and if he is set out there in the perimeter he can really stretch the floor. He has a quick first step and can finish on eother side of the rim. He will be a player that in time will get on the floor.
Coleman has a great first step and he does a good job of changing speeds and also changing levels on his attack keeping defenders off balance. Coleman as a slasher is very solid. He is a good young player that is emerging.
Talent Rising
