Mikey Freeman
Freeman was the lead act of the show his NEBC Team Steer out of Buffalo. He orchestrated his team with his play as a point guard. He is incredibly quick and has some very quick hands. He gets a ton of steals and tips. It showed some great defensive anticipation. He always was in control of the game it seemed. He is a kid who likes to play fast. He has no fear when attacking the basket. He is even with you at all when he has the ball, it’s a bucket because he will blow by you.

I got to check Darfus play twice today and both times I walked away a big fan of his game. He has a nice inside-and-out game. He is a knockdown shooter when his feet are set and ready to shoot the ball. He is a nice finisher, especially for his size he does a good job finishing over bigger players. He has sneaky length and uses it well on the defensive end. He guards any position and allows his length to help with that. He plays his tail off and proved that to me in both games I watched.
Tarpley is the playmaker that gets stirs the pot for the Mr22Elite 16U squad. He handles the ball really well even with immense pressure being put on him. He keeps his head up and lets it bother him. He knows when to score as he finds the holes in the defense easily when attacking the basket. Finishes with contact well. He also has a pretty shot and I’d like to see him use it a little more.
Highlights
This is my second time covering Ingram this AAU season and there is no way to deny this kid being a good player. He has all the tools you want in a good player. He has good length and height for his position with some athleticism others simply do not have. This makes his transition and finishing at the rim game just tough to stop. He is a good defender. Brings a ton of energy and effort to the court when he plays. Smooth player.
