Cash Middleton was relentless on the offensive glass against Pure Ambition 2028. Offensively he uses his footwork in the post to get easy opportunities. Occasionally he would shoot mid-range and 3-point shots throughout the weekend hitting a couple in multiple games. He boxes out well on the defensive side coming away with a lot of rebounds on that end of the floor. Anytime the ball was shot he was positioning himself the best way possible to get rebounds.
Highlights
Owen Marriott
Owen Marriott
Owen Marriott aggressively attacked the rim almost any time he got the ball in his hands on offense. He excels at attacking the basket by using his size to blow by defenders. Also, on offense he showed the ability to knock down perimeter shots as well. While his team was down in the game, he really impressed me by being one of the main players fighting back to cut the lead down. On a couple possessions he came up with steals by being in passing lanes.
What stood out to me about Owen Towne was his defensive ability to play tight on the opposing guards of Team Trae Young 2028. When his defender was one pass away from getting the ball, he made sure to deny the pass on multiple possessions. Offensively he attacked the basket and drew fouls while doing so. On the perimeter he knocked down some three pointers and mid-range shots to add on to his great performance.
Highlights
As the team’s starting point guard, he makes a ton of great decisions on offense. Through these decisions he makes smart passes, uses his quickness to blow by defenders on his way to the rim and he takes smart perimeter shots. At times when TJ is creating his own shot, he makes it look easy as he is always calculating what he is going to do before he does it on the floor depending on the situation he is in.
Highlights
CJ Heskett is a crafty guard that can fill up the box score quickly due to his scoring ability. With his smooth shooting stroke, he started the game off knocking down two three-point shots which I can tell boosted his confidence. After those made shots, he started scoring on all three levels which carried on throughout the whole game against the Chicago Demons 2028. Throughout the rest of the weekend, he continued to showcase his scoring ability as his team won the championship game this weekend. While playmaking he made some flashy passes to his teammates that left some of his defenders lost.
Olon Williams
Olon Williams
Olon Williams is a player that plays good on both ends of the floor. On offense I like how he thrived off the pick and roll. While in the pick and roll he can create his own shot and create for others as well. Defensively he did good contesting shots at the rim as well as sliding his feet on the perimeter.
