Continue ReadingRemy Albrecht Remy Albrecht 5'11" | PG Cleveland | 2026 State NM
Although undersized, Albrecht is about as skilled as anybody in the state through his second season. With the ball on a string going either direction, the guard can control the pace within the halfcourt. Adept as a shotmaker off the bounce or off the catch, there are few guards in the state who can space the floor to his degree. As one of the premier names on 20-8 Cleveland, there is no doubt that this guard will be a household name in the state over the coming seasons.
Luis Archuleta Luis Archuleta 5'11" | PG Tucumcari | 2026 State NM
19 PPG
4.1 RPG
3.5 APG
58% 2P
97% FT
Another skilled lead ball handler, Archuleta does well to create scoring opportunities for teammates in the halfcourt. A creative playmaker versus pressure, he consistently keeps his eyes up to survey the floor for the next pass. Effective operating out of ball screens, he has shown effectiveness making passing reads out of doubles or hedges from opposing defenders.
Jordy Giron
Giron shows upside as a playmaker versus pressure, effectively making the right pass against an aggressive defense. Capable of threading the needle through multiple defenders, the guard has both great vision and skill hitting teammates in their pocket. The guard can maintain his versus contact, effective speeding or slowing down the pace at will.
Bobby Parraz Bobby Parraz 5'7" | PG Loving | 2026 State NM
7.8 PPG
5 RPG
3.7 APG
Although undersized, the guard does not mind getting into the thick of it around the rim. A high motor lead guard who looks to make the right play, either getting easy attempts at the basket or hitting a cutter with a dump off. Defensively, he competes at the point of attack, bringing active hands to make the most of his abilities.
Tristin Onsurez Tristin Onsurez 5'5" | PG Loving | 2026 State NM
10.4 PPG
2.2 APG
Onsurez is a selfless guard who handles plenty of the facilitating duties for this group out of Loving. His effectiveness handling the ball allows the guard to methodically set up the halfcourt flow. Another area of intrigue will be the guard’s growth as perimeter shotmaker, certainly showing signs of production from attempts off the catch.
Daymion Urioste
10.1 PPG
3.9 APG
Urioste has potential as a complementary playmaker, typically at his best making decisions against a rotating defense. Tucumcari boasts one of the more intriguing 2026 backcourt duos in the state, certainly a pair with plenty of playmaking upside.
Charlie Campbell Charlie Campbell 6'2" | PG Artesia | 2026 State NM
A taller guard, Campbell brings relative quickness with the ball, fairly nimble while handling the rock in traffic. Active attacking the rim versus opposing contests, he is a willing finisher around the rim. He is often tasked with matching up against bigger opponents, actively fighting for position on the glass. As a facilitator, he works just as hard off-ball, effectively attacking the rim once the opponents ball watches along the perimeter.
