Demarco Harris
Demarco Harris
Harris is as tough as they come. He is a 6’1 forward who can absolutely bang in the post with anyone. He is so strong and has a great motor. He plays so hard and goes for every rebound and loose ball. He is a monster on the board and simply has a relentless effort. He has good footwork and patience in the paint. He is a smart player knowing his size disadvantage. He can guard multiple positions. I liked the effort and toughness of this kid.
Hudson is a really good point guard. He has a good ability to control the speed of the game. He likes to play fast and does. He does this but creates havoc on the defensive end. He had the person he was guarding life miserable. He creates turnovers with his quick hands and seems to get every loose ball. He is all over the floor defensively. He has great effort and intensity. Then he has great court vision. He gets the ball ahead of the defense through the pass. He finds open teammates. He also seemed to be a good leader and communicator. Speaks a lot about this kid.
Ish Hakki
Ish Hakki
Hakki is a bucket getter. He has a nice complete-looking game that will only get better as he continues to develop. This kid has confidence and swag to his play. He is decisive and makes quick moves. He gets to his spot and burns it. He is a sniper. He can shoot it from wherever and needs little to no space to make his shot. He has some good size that helps him get shots off. He is a name to watch on this 16U Hopson Elite team.
Sargent is a good athletic guard who has a nice skillset to match it. He is long and has a quick first step. He does a good job of getting to his spot well and dictates the contact to get him in scoring position. He has a great touch in the paint. He loves his floater. Does a good job of finishing off the balance. He has a good handle on the ball. A real shifty player who changes direction great.
