Jahmod Murphy (TruVision Outlawz): A 5’8″ unsigned point guard from Hazelwood West who really runs the show well with his ability to pass and organize his team. His court vision is excellent and he has good end to end speed in the open court. He handles pressure well because he’s physically strong and he stays low on his dribble, which makes him tougher to guard.
Elijah Boyd Elijah Boyd 5'9" | PG McClure South Berkeley | 2025 MO (St. Louis Pistons): A 5’8″ 2025 point guard from STEAM Academy McCluer South-Berkeley who is very good at controlling the pace of the game and distributing the basketball. He does not let himself get sped up and he does a good job changing speeds. He was breaking down defenders off the dribble and getting into the lane for short jumpers and runners.
Marvin Neals Marvin Neals 5'7" St. Mary's Soutide Catholic | 2026 MO (Mid Pro Select): A 5’8″ 2026 point guard from St. Mary’s who used his speed and quickness to impact the game at both ends of the court. He is a strong on-ball defender who can harass opposing ball handlers from end to end. He was also very disruptive at the top of his team’s full court press with his activity and ability to anticipate. The young lefty also used his speed in the open court on offense in the transition game and on downhill drives to the basket.
Tyler Gray (3D Metro): A 2025 point guard from Mascoutah (IL) who did a good job of getting his teammates involved with his passing early in the games I watched. He has court vision and could also thread the needle with a smooth dime. When he asserted himself, he used his quickness and shifty moves with the ball to attack the basket.
Vaiki Echridge (Life League Gray): A 2026 point guard from Cardinal Ritter who is a slick ball handler who could break down a defender at any time. When he got to his dominant left hand, he was getting down hill and scoring on layups in the lane. He did a good job of setting up his defenders off the dribble before hitting them with a quick burst to get into the lane.
