Williams-Adams combined great scoring efficiency with exceptional court vision, making him a dual threat as a scorer and playmaker on the court. He posed a real mismatch when facing the basket, often attacking power forwards off the dribble and utilizing his post skills to score efficiently in the paint, even through contact. Defensively, Williams-Adams’ mobility made it easy for him to switch onto smaller players when needed, showcasing his versatility and defensive prowess. He is also a capable shot alterer and disruptor in the passing lanes, showing the timing and instincts to change the game. His ability to contribute across offense and defense, along with his effectiveness in various roles, made him a one of, if not the most valuable player in the entire session.
Amari Reed Amari Reed 6’8″ | PF Lancaster | 2025 State #203 Nation TX ‘s incredible athletic abilities were evident on both ends of the court, making a significant impact from the beginning of the game. He started his Saturday with a powerful two-handed slam, showcasing his athleticism and aggressiveness while diving down the lane for an and-one finish, converting the free-throw as well. Offensively, Reed exhibited a high motor that made him effective on the boards, where he actively went after putbacks and crashed from the perimeter to secure second-chance shot opportunities for his team. In the post, Reed covered a sizable amount of ground with his drop step move when turning over his left shoulder. Defensively, Reed took pride in his role as a shot blocker and rim protector, using his athleticism and timing to challenge shots and deter opponents from attacking the basket, even setting the tone by making an immediate impact and blocking the first shot attempt that entered the lane.
Parker Jefferson Parker Jefferson 6’10” | C Waxahachie | 2025 State #46 Nation TX ‘s high basketball IQ and exceptional feel for the game set him apart at his position. Despite being a big man, Jefferson moved with impressive agility and awareness, constantly cutting, popping, flashing, relocating, and setting ball screens multiple times within a possession. Jefferson’s biggest standout attribute was his dominance on the boards, impacting both offensive and defensive rebounding. He co trolled the glass, showcasing great reach and an outstanding first and second jump, allowing him to compete and secure rebounds even when challenged by multiple opponents boxing him out or attempting to push him out of the paint. Beyond his individual skills, Jefferson played a crucial role as a glue guy on the team. His presence on the court commanded respect from opponents at all times as the team was always able to play through him.
Shelton Henderson Shelton Henderson 6’7″ | SF Bellaire | 2025 State #89 Nation TX was at his best offensively in transition, scoring in the open floor and capitalizing on fastbreak opportunities, utilizing his athleticism and speed to outrun opponents or lead the charge up the court and finish plays at the rim with a high rate of success.
When scoring, Jeremiah Cooper Jeremiah Cooper 6’8″ | PF Spring Westfield | 2025 State #206 Nation TX displayed nimble footwork, agility, good leaping ability, and long strides, particularly when operating in the post from the dunker’s spot. Cooper exhibited a soft touch within close range, allowing him to finish effectively in traffic and from various angles around the rim. Cooper’s athleticism stood out in his ability to run the floor with good quickness for his size, also getting off the ground well to convert plays at the rim with ease at times.
