Damarcus Sloan
Damarcus Sloan
An electric, shifty, shooter is a great way to describe Sloan. A top tier scorer. He is a downhill player, looking for options on the break but prefers to get his own shot. He will shoot the ball with confidence on a deep variety of shot selections. Adept at finding holes to spot up and lethal with a late defender closing out. Strong crossovers and long arms pull defenders in, while quick first steps blow right by them. A real threat if he is not double teamed or at least met by an extra defender. Can guard 94 feet without fouling consistently very good conditioning and lateral movement. He harasses ball handlers forcing them to get rid of the ball often.
Cole Seely
Cole Seely
Cole is a smooth shooter that can score in bunches from long range. He likes to score off the dribble with size up and hesitation moves to get defenders to fall back. He can score off screens as a ball handler and will get to his right or left to finish if ran off the three-point line. A solid threat with or without the ball. He has good speed as a dribbler and covers the court well on fast breaks. He has some sneaky bounce will get up to finish high over good post defenders.
Mason Carlino
Mason Carlino
Mason has some of the deepest range I’ve seen by far. Confident shooting ability from well beyond 22-24 feet when needed or available. His shots are highly effective when coming off a screen or catching and shooting a set jumper. A high release from a quick wrist snap and follow through are where most of his points come from. Good at shooting off the dribble under pressure. If allowed space he can become a decent threat to create for teammates or draw fouls using his body to lean and weave by defenses.
Carter is a talented prospect that can shoot the ball well from the perimeter. He can shoot off the dribble showing flashes of crafty ball handling. He gets into spot up positions well in transition. Using his size and length he likes to shoot over late closers and smaller wing defenders. He can create shots from mid-range and uses some post footwork to get inside for close range attacks. His skillset can be dangerous as there is a ton of potential to unleash. A polished shooter that can earn his own and doesn’t run from a defensive challenge.
Highlights
Drew is a dominant shooter with high overall efficiency. He is a tireless scorer, taking and making the same shots from the opening tip to the final buzzer. A knock down shooter if left open for certain but can get his own shot from the perimeter as well. Doesn’t rely on others to score, but does catch and shoot a bunch. A smooth defender that doesn’t get bullied or blown by a ton. He can get going as a passer if being singled out on defense and he has good court vision to couple with that.
