Today, we are looking at TEN Stock Risers from the recent update.
Brady Westphal Brady Westphal 6'2" | SG West Fargo Horace | 2025 State ND |6’1 G| Horace
A talented lefty who had a few big shooting games. Mr. Cool averaged 14.6 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.1 spg, shot 45 FG%, 35 3FG%, and hit 56 3FG. Westphal is a serious shooter from deep and his range is extended. I like his passing & vision When he attacks, Brady is always looking for shooters. He works well with Carter Evanson Carter Evanson 6'2" | SG Horace | 2026 State ND and those two make for a scary shooting backcourt combination. Brady is with ECI this summer on the top team and will have plenty of chances to prove himself against great competition. PHD is excited to watch him on the PH Circuit.
Sullivan Ihry Sullivan Ihry 5'11" | CG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2025 State ND |5’11 G| Sheyenne
An important role player for the Mustangs who won the State Championship in AA. Sully averaged 5.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.7 apg, .8 spg, shot 38.2 FG%, 32 FG%, and hit 24 3FG. Sully looked smooth shooting the rock and I like his passing ability. He is playing with Sanford Hoops top grassroots team this spring/summer and he will no doubt see stiff competition. Sully improved this past year and we should expect that to happen again this offseason. His role will increase this coming year and PHD is intrigued to see how he progresses.
Wyatt Kuhn Wyatt Kuhn 6'5" | SF New Salem/Almont | 2025 State ND |6’5 G| NSA
Kuhn is a physical beast, a Double-Double machine, and a next-level athlete. Wyatt had impressive numbers this year with 21 ppg, 10 rpg, 2.2 apg, 3 spg, 60 2FG%, 68 FT%. Wyatt thrives at creating space on offense and he gobbles it up on defense. Few players can match his strength and physicality. Wyatt has some versatility in his offensive game and he is a full-contact baller on both ends of the floor.
Landon Bedell Landon Bedell 6'7" | C Minot | 2025 State ND |6’7 C| Minot
He was a role player for the Magicians. Landon and the Magi won 24 games and finished 4th Place at the State Tournament. Landon averaged 4.1 ppg, 4 rpg, 1 apg, and shot a nice 45 FG%. You have to love his length! Landon is guaranteed to be a tough player, hard worker, and a stout defensive player since he plays for coach Winczewski. Landon has good feet around the hoop and he can score with his back to the basket. The BIG kid from Magic City has exciting potential.
Xavier Ames Xavier Ames 6'8" | SF Fargo Davies | 2025 State ND |6’8 F| Davies
Ames has huge upside as he can handle the ball and shoot it at a quality clip for a BIG. Ames played spot varsity minutes later in the season and the Eagles have high hopes for him next year. Xavier improved defensively and his physicality is upgraded. I like that he is doing more on the interior and less on the arc. If Ames becomes more consistent, he could be a breakout role player for Davies next winter.
Jett Lundeen Jett Lundeen 6'2" | SG Bishop Ryan | 2025 State ND |6’2 G| Minot Ryan
He helped the Lions win 24 games and finish 4th Place at the State Tournament. Lundeen had a fantastic season and was selected as a Second Team All-State Player. Jett put up some nice numbers with 15.1 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 5.4 apg, 2.2 spg, 43 FG%, 53 2FG%, 30 3FG%, 70 FT%. Lundeen is a talented shooter, a creative slasher, a heady baller, and a gifted passer. Look out for the Lions next year, Lundeen and Ramsey Walz Ramsey Walz 6'7" | PF Bishop Ryan | 2025 State #313 Nation ND will be one of the best teams in B once again.
Drake Schlosser Drake Schlosser 6'2" | SG Stanley | 2025 State ND |6’2 G| Stanley
He is a big/strong guard with excellent athleticism. Schlosser is looking like a big-time college football recruit. This year in hoops, Drake averaged 13 points per game while only taking 7 shots per game, he grabbed 5 boards, dished 3 assists, and stole the ball 3 times per contest. Schlosser was one of the most improved players from year to year that coach Anderson has ever been around. Offensively, Drake became a three-level scorer this season and was extremely crafty in the paint with his footwork and shot the ball well. Schlosser was extremely unselfish and could have easily scored more if he pulled the trigger more often. He was named All-Region this season as a junior and was the best perimeter defender in the Region. Stanley put him on the opposing team’s best player and he held them well under their averages. Look for Drake’s role to greatly increase next season as he will be asked to shoot & score the rock much more.
Bridger Johnson Bridger Johnson 5'11" | CG Williston | 2025 State ND |5’11 G| Williston
One of the top breakout players in Class AA and the WDA. Johnson averaged 15 ppg, 3 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.5 spg, and shot 38.9 3FG% with 44 3FGM. I like how Johnson moves without the ball, spaces, reacts, and catches ready to shoot. He can also score off the dribble. Bridger has a smooth shooting stroke and he thrived off the attention Isiah St. Romain Isiah St. Romain 6'3" | SG Williston | 2024 ND drew. Johnson is an opportunistic scorer and a serious shooter.
Grant Cosley Grant Cosley 6'0" | SG North Border | 2025 State ND |6’0 G| North Border
He helped the Eagles win 16 games and get to the State Qualifier game at the SHAC. Cosley put up impressive numbers with 16.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 4 apg, 1.6 spg, 40.3 FG%, 33.9 3FG%, 58 3FGM. Grant really grew into a leadership role with a young team around him. Cosley was the primary ballhandler, he learned to play downhill and attack the rim relentlessly. He was also a legit outside shooting threat. Grant has always been a strong on-ball defender, he turned into an all-around baller this season. Cosley stood out this season with his leadership, ability to get his teammates involved, his speed/athleticism, and his playmaking ability off the bounce.
Treyton Mauch Treyton Mauch 5'11" | SG Wahpeton | 2025 State ND |5’11 G| Wahpeton
The Huskies won 16 games this season, they were 1 game away from the State Tournament but came up a bit short in the State Qualifier. Mauch was selected as an All-Region 1 player who averaged 9.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.3 spg2, and shot 33 3FG%. Mauch is an impressive athlete who stands out with his speed & quickness. Mauch can hit the 3, is a great rebounder for a guard, and is a lockdown defender.
