Culberson has been an unsigned top guard prospect in the state all season. He brings intense defensive play with precise long range shooting. The epitome of a 3 & D guard. Heavily reliable to do all duties on both sides of the ball, complete player. Great physicality without fouling, knowing his spots and when to take his shots, nice passing, leadership skills, and more. Culberson shot 3 of 4 from deep (all first half) in the 6A State Championship, while picking up 4 steals en route to a victory. Huge piece in this Little Rock Central team with a very bright basketball future ahead.
Brycten is a skilled leader with next level shooting abilities. His mid range shooting is just as good as his 3 point shooting. With so many players running away from the mid range, he finds it useful. A 1k point scorer in his career, Harris fought hard and led his team to the 1A State Championship game but fell short. In the game he tied all scorers with 20 points. Never once did he shy away from the moment, even down 14+ he led the charge with a couple big 3’s and an and-1 on a mid range jumper to cut the gap down to 5 points. Harris is considered by many one of the top guards in the state, still unsigned Harris is looking to continue his basketball career.
Highlights
Bead is an extremely profound and talented hooper that brings so much swagger to the court within his play. Confidence oozes from the way he plays and his mentality towards the game. A walking triple double threat. Game by game in this season’s playoffs he lifted his play. So good with the ball in his control he spaces the floor not only with his jump shooting skills but also with his ball handling knowing how to draw defenders out of position. He got up 15 points in the 6A State Championship with 9 rebounds, a very underrated part of his game. Only a sophomore you can most certainly expect to hear his name a ton over the next 2 seasons picking up college offers.
Payton DePriest
Payton DePriest
DePriest is a lights out, knock down shooter. He has a burner and when he’s hot good luck to anyone trying to get him to miss. On ball or off ball you cannot give him good looks, he will make you pay for it. A true volume shooter that gets better the more he sees go down. Surprising athlete with speed and dunking ability as well. Great range and shot IQ come together for him well, making him a great floor spacer. Payton dropped 58 points earlier this season in a spectacular performance exhibiting his shooting prowess. The 2A State Champion Runner-Up also had 20+ in the championship game. A pure shooter and scorer, the senior is looking for a home next season and should secure one soon.
Dylan Friend
Dylan Friend
Friend is an electric player who ignites the offense with each shot, you can see the team feed off him as the shots fall. He has a wide range of shooting skills with step thru jumpers, pump fake 1 dribble pull ups, and off the catch and shoot too. Stable shooter who can light up the court from all over. Back to back seasons shooting 40% or better from beyond the arc. He is some one that extends defenses with his logo range. The junior marksman is coming off back to back 3A State Championship appearances, coming up short in both. With another year to go watch for Friend to keep hitting big shots and picking up offers.
