Kaleb Clark
Kaleb Clark
Kaleb has been a noteworthy prospect that is one of most sought-after prospects in the always talented rich DMV area. There is a lot to like about the 6’5 do it all prospect early on. He has the length, the size, and the fluidity that you like for a player at his age, and he understands where he can flourish. With his frame, versatility he does a nice job of being a presence on both ends, running rim to rim, blocking shots, playing all five positions, and showing to have a quality feel to the game that should only continue to develop as he gets older and stronger. He runs with the New World 3SSB program.
James Walker
James Walker
Walker was an inconsistent player throughout the Middle School season this year. but in the DCSAA Title game against Jefferson Middle who they lost to in the City Title game, he was by far the best player on the floor. Scored 25 points on 5-7 from the 3pt line and shot 10-12 from the field also showed his overall skill set dishing out 3 assists and picking up 1 steal. really liked what I saw in his game. Watching him operate, really liked his toughness, his confidence, and his ability to just say “give me the ball” and make things happen. Whether it was scoring, breaking down defenders, being a strong three-point shooter, finding ways to get to the line, setting up his teammates, or being a good presence on both sides of the ball, Walker left an impression should be one to watch out for more in the future.
Corey Brandon
Corey Brandon
The little engine that could finds a ton of success through his motor and scrappy on-court presence. He does a terrific job of filling in the gaps on both ends of the floor. Brandon battles for rebounds, defends with energy, and scores within the flow of the offensive structure. Legit knock down shooters from 17-19 feet. A poised young lead guard that doesn’t require touches to make an impact. Another young man that has the famed Washington Athletic Conference eyeing this young guard.
Was impressed with Elijah’s game. I think he is another prospect that you will be hearing a lot more about. Hall has a lot of intangibles to his game as a young player; he has long rangy frame, IQ, feel, ability to create, a great feel in helping run the show, shares the ball well, and can make plays off the bounce or knock down shots. And you can see that he puts in the work and has a lot left in the tank for his game. When you watch his game, there is simply so much to like, and he is one that looks to have a bright future.
Jacob Jenkins
Jacob Jenkins
Shooting will always be incredibly valuable, and Jenkins might be the most reliable shooting threat on the floor. Clearly still growing into his body, he already stands out as an impressive perimeter shooter with feel, toughness, and a strong understanding of his strength. Jenkins is terrific off the catch, but more than capable of generating clean looks (and converting) within a few dribble. He’s great in the midrange, very reliable from beyond the arc, and moves well as a cutter without the ball. Jenkins is a willing defender and rebounder using his length. He’s a young prospect who will be worth following over the foreseeable future.
Delonte Jenkins
Delonte Jenkins
Jenkins has been one of the top two-way (QB in Football) athletes in the Middle School ranks. He is a player that always seems to step up on multiple occasions. He is a high IQ guard that plays with a ton of poise and under control, while also showing his understanding of the game at an early age. Jenkins knows how to run the show, score and create, make smart decisions, set the tone, and play with tremendous pace/control. Expect his name to pop up a lot more in the coming years.
