The March rankings for the 2024 class will be the final ranking and media content supplied by us so completing these rankings come with great pride. The listing below is the newest additions to the rankings list. When in December it seemed impossible to find 100 kids to rank to now where it seems we could’ve possibly ranked 150. Congrats to these new additions to the newest updated and final rankings.
Wyatt Shively who was in a tough role for Jefferson this year being the lone big and having to play bigger than his 6’3″ frame. Shively has a baller’s mentality and takes advantage of his opportunities.
Johnathan Shrewsberry is certainly a role player for the Morgantown Mohigans, but he is a star in his role. Typically first man off the bench, Shrewsberry can play multiple spots and defend as well. He’s the type of player needed to win and defend state titles.
Taeshaun Hines Taeshaun Hines 6'4" | PG Capital | 2024 State WV wrapped up his senior year with Capital but not before being a serious threat to defenses. Playing night in and out vs. WV’s toughest competition, Hines grinded out solid performance after solid performance to cap his senior year.
Connor Gribble Connor Gribble 6'6" | SF Parkersburg | 2024 State WV is a star on the grass and the court. The 6’5″ pure athlete stars for the PHS soccer team as well as provided a solid inside presence for the Big Red basketball program.
Caden Morris Caden Morris 6'2" | SG North Marion | 2024 State WV led his Huskies to a state tournament berth and was able to stage his talents. Morris is a slick shooting lefty that stands about 6’2″ and finishes with both hands at the rim but is most deadly catching and shooting from deep. Look for Morris to catch on to a college roster this fall.
Jenson Dodd Jenson Dodd 6'0" | SG Liberty Harrison | 2024 State WV is one of the best and toughest players in WV. He led a resurgence of Liberty Harrison basketball and can flat play. Undersized in may matchups but always able to make plays and breakdown a defense.
Ethan Williams Ethan Williams 5'10" | PG Independence | 2024 State WV is a walking stick of dynamite on the court. Returning from a devastating injury this year, Williams helped the Indy squad post several wins with his high energy and court IQ.
David Thomas is a long and imposing player who provided alot of things to his PikeView team. Great court awareness, skills and mobility, Thomas should be a D3 recruiting target.
Mason Cyran Mason Cyran 6'1" | CG Parkersburg | 2024 State WV turned himself into a very solid player by the end of his senior year. Cyran has some offers or prep schools and with a high ceiling could play those into college opportunities.
