Though it’s not as heralded as it’s neighbors, Delaware’s class is rich with talent for all levels of basketball, especially when it comes to Off-ball Guards and Wings. Aiden Tobiason Aiden Tobiason 6'5" | SF St. Elizabeth | 2024 State DE , Kareem Thomas Kareem Thomas 6'5" | SG Salesianum | 2024 State DE , Justin Hinds Justin Hinds 6'6" | SF Salesianum | 2024 State DE , Dorell Little Dorell Little 6'4" | SG Dover | 2024 State DE , Jaylin Horsey Jaylin Horsey 6'3" | SG William Penn | 2024 State DE , Blair Thomas Blair Thomas 6'4" | SG St. Georges Tech | 2024 State DE , Julius Wright Julius Wright 6'3" | SG St. Elizabeth | 2024 State DE are the marquee names, but there are plenty more fans and college coaches should know about.
Kashmier Wise Kashmier Wise 6'0" | CG Seaford | 2024 State DE | 6’0 G 2024 Seafood
Amassing over 1000 points for his career, Wise is a walking bucket. He scored on or off the ball, but he’s particularly skilled in isolation. With his step-back jumper as his weapon of choice, Wise can hit the trey from deep or use the threat of it to create space then get to the cup with his burst off-the-bounce.
Zion Mifflin Zion Mifflin 6'0" | CG Middletown | 2024 State DE | 6’0 G 2024 Middletown
Both shifty and fluid, the Seaford-transfer is adept at attacking off-the-catch. Once Mifflin gets into the lane, he has a bag full of moves to finish with craft at the rim. His floor-spacing is his next best skill, but it’s not far behind the slashing. Mifflin can catch-and-shoot or pull-up, which sets him up for backdoor cuts.
Jayden Lawrence Jayden Lawrence 6'3" | SG Mt. Pleasant | 2024 State DE | 6’3 G 2024 Mount Pleasant
Even when everyone knows the ball is going to him, Lawrence is still able to deliver for his team. The versatile scorer blends power and touch to produce however he has to – creating advantages with his strength on drives, boxing out for putbacks, hitting contested jumpers. In the overtime victory against Odessa in round 2 of the state playoffs, Lawrence scored 30 of Mt. Pleasant’s 48 points.
Tobias Reese Tobias Reese 6'2" | SG St. Elizabeth | 2024 State DE | 6’3 G/W 2024 St. Elizabeth
In addition to Tobiason and Wright, the Vikings are boosted by Reese on the wing. He’s a physical on-ball defender, ready and able to take tough assignments on any-given night. Though he isn’t featured on offense, his willingness to make the extra pass and ability to knock down threes from the strong-side corner or weak-side slot make him a great connector.
Jamal Johnson Jamal Johnson 6'3" | SF Howard | 2024 State DE 6’2 G/W 2024 Howard
A two-sport athlete, Johnson’s talent as a receiver and defensive back are evident on the court. Instead of stretching the field vertically, he spaces the court horizontally with threes off-the-catch and is always a threat in transition. And just like when he’s in coverage, he shows his range as an impact defender by deflecting passes and blocking shots.
