Aiden Brown – 6’3” / 2024 / Math, Civics & Sciences / Wing: Brown is along and athletic prospect who glides up and down the floor. He is a thereat in the open court threat as a primary ball handler or running the wing and then finishing through contact. Brown can also generate points by attacking the cup off the dribble and via the offensive glass. This past week he posted 14 points inthe Elephants’ 2nd Round win over Columbia as well as 10 points in an OT victory against Loyalsock. With the win over Loyalsock, MCS advanced to the PIAA 3A semifinals.
Ryan Brown Ryan Brown 6'3" | CG Unionville | 2024 State PA – 6’0” / 2026 / Central York / York Ballers / Combo Guard: The complimentary “glue guy”to CY’s big three came up huge this past weekend. Brown netted as career high 17 points (2 triples) on Saturday as he helped push Central York past Upper St. Clair and into the 6A semifinals. Brown is an athletic and quick prospect with solid instincts. He excels in transition, can drill threes, and serve as a primary ball handler. On defense Brown has a habit of knifing through passing lanes for steals. Plus, he rebounds well for a guard.
Packy Doherty – 6’1” / 2026 / Scranton Prep / NEPA Elite / Combo Guard: Doherty introduced himself to SEPA fans and hoop heads by dropping 20 points on the strength of 4 made threes during Scranton Prep’s 4A quarterfinals upset of Neumann Goretti. In Scranton’s 1st Round defeat of Fleetwood, this lefty with a smooth stroke splashed 9 threes (40 pts. total). When he is not lacing 3-balls, Doherty is a creative distributor and solid rebounder. Doherty is a 2026 we will be watching closely this spring and summer.
Mike Hughes Mike Hughes 6'0" | CG Holy Cross | 2025 PA – 6’0” / 2025 / Holy Cross / NEPA Elite / Combo Guard: Hughes has a reputation as an elite three-point shooter, but he can do much more than drain triples all day. He owns tight handles and a high IQ, so can control the tempo of a game. Hughes possesses the ability to blow past defenders off the bounce and get into the paint. Once there he can score at the rim, drop a dime to teammate in the dunker spot or kick out to an open three-point shooter. Over the weekend Hughes registered 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in PIAA 2A quarterfinals in win over Dock Mennonite.
