Archuleta repeatedly brings high energy on every possession, putting constant pressure on the defense. An active downhill scoring threat, the guard is always on prowl for driving lanes, although he is particularly willing to pass first and foremost. He’s often under control while on offense, actively stepping into mid-range attempts following a wild closeout.
9.1 PPG, 2.7 APG, 2.3 RPG
Marfil has great intuition on both ends, although he is a difference maker on the defensive end. Active roaming around while off-ball for steals in passing lanes, the guard is especially active on help defense. At the point of attack, he matches up well with both backcourt positions, both strong and laterally quick. He does a great job getting out early in transition, making himself available for outlets.
7.9 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 3.1 APG
Bickham brings value along the perimeter, a willing three point shooter off the catch. Effective fooling opponents with pump fakes, the guard has been excellent staying patient within the halfcourt. His smooth shotmaking is not his only skill on offense, Bickham also shows a willingness and urgency to move around the ball in the half court. Particularly active on skip passes across the halfcourt, the guard keeps his head up to put the defense into rotations. Bringing a strong frame, Bickham is capable of guarding up against bigger guards, taking contact while retaining position.
21.6 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 2.4 APG
Rush is worth another look given his positional size and strong frame. Excellent attacking closeouts for rim attempts, the guard is a willing scorer from the line, effective drawing contact at the basket. His continued growth scoring along the perimeter will be particularly interesting to follow down the line.

Rhodes has produced consistently this season, providing a well rounded offense from all three levels. His high volume scoring provided the engine for Manzano’s offense, up above 100 attempts on free throws and three pointers. At 37% on threes and 70% from the free throw line, he has been fairly efficient as an under 6′ guard. Rhodes has a chance to be an effective player at the next level, certainly a dependable scoring threat within the offensive flow.
17.5 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.5 APG
Florez is an effective jack of all trades, putting his stamp on the game in so many areas. Excellent at recognizing openings in the lane, he does well stepping into pull-up jumpers in tight spaces. Certainly not a black hole on the offensive end, Florez stays consistent swinging the ball to perimeter scorers if necessary. Wiry strong, the guard sets physical screens, setting up perimeter scorers for success.

The big lead guard should be on radars due to his positional size and passing vision. There are not many guards at Burns’ size within New Mexico as proactive a passer as this senior, active on entry passes once post threats gain deep position.
