Quin Bailey (Rock Bridge):
Bailey has been inserted into the starting lineup much more as of late and it’s paying off. Rock Bridge is playing their best basketball and he makes a ton of plays. The guard/wing can get downhill, create, and jump passing lanes as a defender. He’s growing to become more and more productive each passing game. Against Helias on Friday he was one of the difference makers. Bailey might be the secret x-factor that this Bruins team has for a playoff run.
Alex Wood (Helias):
Wood plays a vital role on the team. He’s a space eater who makes shots through contact and wants to rebound. A strong role player that plays much bigger than his listed size of 6’5. He was another player that played well at Rock Bridge on Friday night. He made a handful of nice shots in the 2nd quarter. He’s a sophomore in this very talented 2026 class at Helias. A building block of the future.
Jimmy Townsend Jimmy Townsend 6'1" | SG Hickman | 2024 State MO (Hickman):
Townsend brings energy, shooting, and experience to the floor. A trustworthy senior that has grown over the years. His trust from the staff is obvious. They know he’s going to make the right play, use his motor, and get on the ball to win extra possessions. He has a natural ability to hit key threes when the team needs them most. A player who’s also more athletic than he’s given credit for. Townsend can make a play here or there in transition which is the difference when trying to win close games.
Kendric Johnson Kendric Johnson 5'10" | PG Jefferson City | 2025 State MO (Jefferson City):
Johnson is a talented point guard for Jefferson City who are looking to make a bounce back playoff run. He’s a quick player who makes the 3 and throws dimes. He and 2025 Jordan Martin Jordan Martin 6'6" | SF Jefferson City | 2025 State MO have a lot of chemistry and Johnson knows where he’s going to be for assists. They’ve connected on alley-oops at times this season as well. Johnson is tougher than he’s given credit for and plays with a chip on his shoulder. One of their top players and a guy who has the ball in his hands often.
Keyion Cross Keyion Cross 6'2" | CG Battle | 2025 State MO (Battle):
Cross became eligible in the middle of the season and has the ability to help this team in tough games. His athletic ability immediately stands out and he’s a dynamic player in the open floor. Plays well above the rim. A pressure defender who looks to create steals. Battle was rolling in Mid-January and a player such as Cross doing all the little things will be key as they look to reach their ceiling during the playoffs. He’s a 2025 guard.
Javar Galbreath Javar Galbreath 6'5" | PF Father Tolton | 2024 State MO (Tolton):
Galbreath has finally suited up for Tolton this season and makes a world of difference for the team. He’s a 6’6 junkyard dog that rebounds well and plays with a motor. They haven’t needed him to score as much so his role is profound. He has quick, choppy feet for his size when switching onto smaller defenders which is a real asset for ball screen coverage. Galbreath is an unsung hero and will play a big role in potential playoff wins.
