When you look at players that have a lot left to grow their game Desire is one you have to really pay attention to. He could be a long term prospect that will likely give you what you need as a 4 or 5 depending what you have on your roster. He is defending better and better in a man. He has that shot altering and shot blocking ability. He moves his feet well and you can put him in a switch 1-5 and he could hold his own. He has a good touch and at the college level he is only going to get more reps and get better. He could be a late signee at the LM D1 level.
Highlights
This kid has always been good but he has really worked on his game and he is great now. He could be an ideal PWO at a local school at the D1 level. He will make everyone on the floor better. He has range and he has been handling the ball very well. He has that big game gene and he has beating some teams and he has taken over in a lot of those games. He would be a big time get for the high level D2’s or a solid pickup for a NJCAA school if he decides to go that route.
Huge news for Carson as he has decided to run with Utah Gold and will give colleges a better look at him. He has that D1 style of play and size to play the 3 guard. He just needs to find the right fit. He has really elevated his game ad playing as an unsigned senior will give colleges a bigger sample size to look at as he plays his true position at a high level.
The big fella has game and just this year he has surged. I was able to watch him on the Gold Circuit on the East and he had some good games and he is another player that will get things going at the college level that he might not have had the time for at the high school level. When he gets a chance to get into the weight room and put on some weight he could be a steal in a few years. He should have every local D2 and NAIA school looking to nab him. NWAC schools should be all over him as well.
NWAC schools do not sleep on this kid. He can hoop and he can take over in a hurry. He is a lot more athletic than he gets credit for and he can score from anywhere on the floor. His ability to make things happen will be much appreciated at the college level. He is a player that needs to be locked up right now.
