While Mayson’s downhill driving prowess has been his hallmark offensively, this season has seen remarkable improvements in his shooting abilities. Despite not taking many three-point attempts, his accuracy from beyond the arc has soared to an impressive 42%, marking a significant 23% increase from last season. Across the board, his shooting percentages and traditional stats have seen notable improvements, with averages of 18.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game—an elite performance for a sophomore. Looking ahead, Mayson’s consistent excellence puts him squarely in the conversation for the Top 10 prospects, making him a must-watch for every college coach.
