Armonie Franklin Armonie Franklin CG Midfield | 2025 State AL (5’10/PG/’25/Midfield HS)

Everything rises and falls with Armonie when it comes to the Patriots. He is the facilitator of the offense and the voice of the defense. He was just too much to deal with against Carbon Hill, as he was putting constant pressure on the rim, getting into the paint, and drawing fouls. He had double-digit attempts at the charity strike and was very aggressive on the defensive end of the floor. He has to clean up the turnovers as he committed 8, which did not hurt against Carbon Hill but could as the Patriots move forward. He finished the Sweet 16 contest with the following stat line: 12pts (2-5).
Joseph King Joseph King 6'7" | PF Helena | 2025 State AL (6’5/PF/’25/Helena)
Joseph is an interior contributor whose play really helped Helena punch their ticket to the Final Four. He has good positional size and length, which helps when he is finishing around the rim and when defending the post. McAdory’s length was the area many believed Helena would struggle with, but Joseph did a good job combatting their length. He had an efficient night scoring the rock, and he will be a key interior piece if they are going to bring home the championship. He finished the Elite 8 match-up with the following stat line: 12pts (6-8)
DaShawn Thomas (6’3/CG/’24/Baker)
DaShawn has proven all year that he can score the rock. He is a multi-level scorer who shot the ball well from behind the arc and was able to score off the bounce. DaShawn is comfortable shooting on the move, creating off the bounce, shooting it from deep, or pulling up from mid-range. Despite his team failing to punch their ticket to Birmingham, he had it all on display in the Elite 8 match-up. He finished with the following stat line: 20pts (7-14 [4-8 3-ptr]).
Jalen Chandler Jalen Chandler 6'6" | PF Covenant Christian | 2024 State AL (6’6/F/’24/Covenant Christian)

Jalen is a lengthy interior presence with good positional size. He is very active and productive on the inside. His presence is why Covenant is back in Birmingham, looking to repeat as champions. Offensively, he can score the rock but is underrated when it comes to his ability to create shots for his teammates. He can really defend and is a tremendous rebounder on both offense and defense. He finished the Elite 8 with the following stat line: 14pts (6-10), 6rebs, 4-assist
Isaiah Shaw (G|F/’24/Shoals Christian)
Isaiah is a versatile perimeter player who can score the rock and is effective in transition and the half-court. He is a high-volume shot taker, but that is often what his team needs from him. He can attack either direction and is adept at changing pace and direction. His team didn’t punch their ticket to Birmingham, but he saw his stock rise. He finished the Elite 8 contest with the following stat line: 16pts (5-14 [0-2 3-ptr]) 9rebs
Carson Thrasher Carson Thrasher 5'10" | SG Mars Hill | 2024 State AL (SG/’24/Mars Hill)

Carson is a senior guard who continues to see his stock rise as the playoffs continue. Those unaware of him will have an opportunity to watch him play as his squad punched their ticket to Birmingham as they routed Tanner. Carson was a huge factor, as he had the entire scoring arsenal on display. He is a multi-level scorer who is extremely lethal from behind the arc. Once he got it going, it was hard to contain him. Because of his ability to score the rock, many say that his squad is the favorite entering into the Final 4. He finished Elite 8 action with the following stat line: 27pts (10-17 [5-10 3-ptr])
