The starting Big on the Sophomore team. A long and lankier type of build, Jaxson can run the floor and rebound the ball well. Brings good energy and effort and will fight for the ball.
Carter is one of the best three-point shooters in AA basketball. A smooth-moving athlete and a smooth offensive skill set with the ability to shoot the ball cleanly from deep range. I think he becomes a productive varsity player.
Bain is a long guard/wing that can move fairly well for his length. A solid athlete that needs to polish his offensive game to be a consistent finisher and scorer. A willing and sound defender that is attentive on that end. Has some built-in upside because he’s a good athlete and mover at a solid 6’4 length. Just needs some offensive refining.
Larson is a good athlete with good movement ability. A quick lateral defender that does a good job of staying in front of his matchup off the dribble. A great help defender that focuses on his off-ball positioning to make sure he’s in the right spot for optimal team defense. Gets his nose in the action in the paint and plays with some toughness. Plays bigger than he is.
Starter on the Huron JV team. Not an explosive athlete, but he’s consistent in his effort and demeanor on the court. A steady motor and he provides length on the wing at 6’3 and can defend in the paint as well. Brings good effort to defend away from the hoop on the perimeter.
A good athlete with some length, and versatility on the court on both ends. Comes off the bench on the Sophomore team, but has a surprising skill set and ability to be a playmaker and gets things done. An alert defender that will also box-out and find a body every time.
Highlights
One of those guys that will fly around defensively and run the court at speed. Great feet and movement in all directions.
