AJ will lead the #4 Syosset squad as they also look to win a AAA county title. AJ is very good getting into the lane and scoring at the rim. He has a strong handle protects the ball really well with a low strong base. Capable shooter from the perimeter. Excellent at creating contact off the bounce and drawing fouls.
Ziyair will give everything he has for #6 Hempstead. He can hit the open three but does most of his work off the bounce or in the paint. Good rebounder and a presence inside. Strong athletic player.
#3 Farmingdale is another balanced club. Jake runs the offense and makes the right decisions with the ball in his hands. Outstanding shooter from deep but can also get in the lane and create for others. Confident ball handler. Like to take the big shots at crunch time.
(Pictured) Baldwin at #2 is a scary sight. Many weapons on both ends of the floor. The one constant is they will play you tough and push you to defend. Chase is a legitimate candidate for POY in Nassau. An outstanding shooter from beyond the arc. Able to get to the rim off the bounce. Good vision and awareness on the court. Can draw defenders and the kick it to his talented teammates.
Highlights
Elmont is looking to capture a AA title. Osagie is a stat stuffer. He is a workhorse on both ends. Battles for everything. Likes to mix it up on the boards. He uses his long strong frame to clear space inside. Very good off the wing with 2-3 dribbles to score inside. Does not get outworked.
Sewanaka also is a legitimate contender for a AA county title. They have two players who can take over games quickly. Dylan is one of them. Extremely quick player with the ball. Outstanding in transition. Displayed a potent pull up mid range game. Changes speeds and direction quickly.
Jordan is Dylan’s running mate leading the Sewanaka club. He can play multiple positions on either end. Very unselfish player who gets to the rim but is also very capable knocking down perimeter shots. A really good defender.
#7 Manhasset is playing their best ball at the right time. James is doing it all. A tremendous shooter. Handles the ball with confidence in tight spots or open space. Can knock down threes at a high clip. A good rebounding guard who can snag it and then lead the break. Head is always up on a swivel looking to make a play. Has done a lot of winning in his high school career.
#3 class A Valley Steam North has a legitimate Nassau county POY in Dominic. Dominic may garner the most attention but this a team with many scoring options. He is quick offf the bounce. Strong and athletic. Inside he gains position and holds it. Can shoot the three ball off the catch. Outstanding rebounder who is very active on both ends. Has shown great defensive instincts. Outstanding passer out of the post or from the elbows.
Highlights
Ryan will lead Floral Park in the class A title hunt. Ryan runs the offense handling the ball rally well and confidently. Can knock down shots from deep. Able to get inside and score or kick it. Excellent court vision and awareness.
#1 seed Friends Academy in class A has looked really strong all season. Jackson is the leader. Strong to the rim going left but can come back and shoot it with the right hand. Excellent footwork and can finish at the rim off of two dribbles.

Syosset at #4 brings another player besides the above mentioned AJ. Yassen can play all 5 spots on the floor. Handles the ball really well. Extremely capable of hitting the three ball. Outstanding rebounder and a presence inside on both ends.

#2 seed South Side has been good all season. They are legitimate class AA contenders to win a county title. Patrick brings great energy and ability to the floor. Runs the floor really well can knock down the open three off the catch. Has displayed the ability to knock down the trailer three off the catch at the top of the key. Does a nice job on the boards cleaning up misses.
Anthony Caris Anthony Caris 6'1" | SF Floral Park | 2025 State NY was just written up in a Nassau county report so we left him off this report but he is a main player for Floral Parks quest for a title.
