Fyans is a PG that can pick up full court and move his feet. He has been playing a lot at the lower level but he is working hard making it difficult for the opposing PG to score or get going. He will be a player that gets inserted into the lineup next year as a lead guard that can really get downhill.
Highlights
Aguirre is really starting to make the jump as a player that can be on the floor and contribute both on offense and defense. He has some length out on the wing and he plays hard. He is a player that is next up on that Juan Diego team to take the next step in his development. He is a small school prospect.
Dyches had a big game this Friday in a really close game and he went of for 20. Dyches when locked in from deep is a game changer. He is a player that can rattle off 4 three-pointers easily. He helps a player like Degraffenried because he can just sit out and catch and shoot.
Phannolath can sure score the ball. He has been on a tear once again this year. He is a gem out on the Westside that should be a big time get for a small school looking to add scoring to their roster from a lead guard.
Northridge relies on a lot of players to score the ball and Birt has been excellent at that in the last three games. He is putting up close to 20 PPG and they even picked up a win on Friday.
Larson has been playing really well and his PG play is outstanding as he is doing a little bit of everything and also scoring the ball. The aspect of his game that is outstanding is that he attacks the glass.
Kersey went crazy and scored 34 points and got to the 1,000 point club. Kersey has really elevated his game this year and he is getting some looks at the next level as a NJCAA type of kid. He is a tough lead guard that gets to his spots.
Bpuntiful is getting more production out of more players as they head into state and try to make a run. Heath is a junior who has been producing in the last 5 games. He has been able to score from deep and also use his quickness to get buckets at the rim or the midrange.
Ries had himself a game this past Friday as he was three points shy of his career high 15 points. He hit two three-pointers and that is great for him as he seems to be transitioning to a wing. If he can be prosuctive and hit from deep he could be a solid wing out in the perimeter with size.
Highlights
Dodd’s shooting has really come in handy this year and he has hit a three-pointer in every game but three this year. When he goes off for 4 or more he really puts East in a good position to win games.
