Northwest regional foes Ramsey (23-8) and Fairfield (26-2) clash for a trip to the state semifinals. Ramsey relies on a balanced scoring attack led by Junior forward Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 6'6" | CG Ramsay HS | 2025 State AL and his 14 points per game. Fairfield boasts one of the top defenses in 5A, holding teams under 50 points per game this season. The Tigers will look to slow down Ramsey’s offensive rhythm in this matchup. Expect a low-scoring defensive battle.
Valley vs Demopolis
Valley (22-1) comes into this Southwest regional matchup riding a 10-game winning streak. Demopolis (17-5) is coming off an upset win over Greenville in the semifinals. Valley has the edge in talent led by senior forward Cam’Ron Dooley 24 points and 10 rebounds per game. But Demopolis plays scrappy defense and has the shooters to keep it close. A berth to the state tournament is on the line.
Guntersville vs Scottsboro
Northeast regional opponents Guntersville (18-10) and Scottsboro (19-8) face off for a trip to the final four. Guntersville does damage from the outside with their three-point shooting, knocking down 10 threes per game. Scottsboro has the size inside to counter with 6’6″ senior forward Jameson Gray averaging 13 points and 9 rebounds. The battle of outside shooting vs interior offense will determine who moves on.
Vigor vs Charles Henderson
Southwest foes Vigor (26-6) and Charles Henderson (21-10) meet in the regional finals. Vigor has athleticism and speed across its roster led by lightning-quick guards, Charles Henderson counters with size in the post and disciplined half-court offense. If Vigor can impose their uptempo pace, they’ll advance. But Charles Henderson will look to slow things down and pound the ball inside. This contrast of styles sets up a great matchup.
Jaden Williams is Ramsey’s leading scorer at 18 points per game. At 6’6″, he has a significant size advantage over Demarcus Williams and does much of his damage in the post. Jaden has good footwork and touch around the basket along with the ability to step out and knock down midrange jumpers.
Demarcus Williams is a quick 5’9″ guard who excels at pressuring the ball and creating turnovers. He averages 2.5 steals per game and often guards the opposing team’s best perimeter scorer. His defensive intensity sets the tone for Fairfield’s staunch defense.
Highlights
Porch, a 6’1″ senior, is Guntersville’s leading scorer at 16 points per game. He is an elite outside shooter, knocking down over 40% of his threes this season. Porch moves well without the ball and has a quick release to get his shot off before defenders can close out.

Jones, a 6’2″ junior, averages 15 points per game for Scottsboro. He is a versatile scorer who can attack the basket off the dribble or pull up from midrange. Jones is athletic and uses crafty ball handling to create just enough space for his shot.
Cam’Ron Dooley
Cam’Ron Dooley
Dooley, a 6’4″ senior, is one of the top players in 5A, averaging 23.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 blocks per game. He is a dominant interior presence who uses his size and athleticism to overpower defenders in the paint. Dooley has excellent footwork and touch around the rim along with the ability to face up and attack off the dribble.
