Last night Brody made sure nobody forgets that he he is back and he is still a dude. We will have to add him to our Mr. Basketball candidate watch. He is playing at an extremely high level. Brody is doing it from all over but his unique next level of skill in his passing is what is spreading the scoring around at a level that might be just too tough to stop.
Cuff is not only skilled but he is an elite game manager. Controlling the tempo and knowing when to slow things up and when to push the tempo. His defense is improving and he is going to be a tough player to keep from impacting the game.
Miller was balling last night and Layton cruised to another win. It was nice to see them keep their foot on the gas and that is what you got from KJ. Miller took his turn and turned things up for Layton. He is turning out to be one of the biggest steals at the next level as he is heading to a solid D2.
Beattie is one of the best unsigned 4’s in the state and as a high academic kid that has a super high motor he is going to be a big find. Beattie was just too big and too skilled last night. He has put a large body of work together and it is all coming together.
Death, Taxes and Copper Lewis having another big time game. This kid is just special. The way he played last night I do not know what it’s going to take to stop him. He spaces the floor well and his shooting is so dangerous. Good luck to anyone defending him the rest of the way.
Big surprise play from the 6’6 senior wing. Although he has had some solid games all year he came up huge against a team with a lot of length and he made his presence felt. It seems as if though Riverton has been hibernating the past few weeks but they have made a statement and Johnson and company are ready to play.
Atwater is starting to take his game to the next level and he is not just doing it with his outside shot, he is doing it with movement and slashing to the rim. Atwater when he is on he is a problem for everyone at state.
