Jenkins surely looks the part with his frame on the floor. Terry has a nice mid-range game. Jenkins is averaging 12.6 ppg, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 steals, 2.4 assists and 2.3 blocks this season for the Bulldogs. Burke HS is currently (19-8) on the season and heading into the playoffs next week.
Burnham had a big season for Nation Ford HS (13-12) after coming back over from Hoop State. He previously attended Carmel Christian before coming back to Nation Ford HS last fall. Jackson is a very athletic guard who can really surprise you with his athleticism. He currently is averaging 21.7 ppg and 4.3 rebounds this season. Jackson won’t go too far away from home to play his college ball at Clinton College in Rock Hill next fall.
Williams is a left-handed guard who plays really well off the ball. Jamarius and the Swamp Foxes are (18-8) heading into playoffs next week. Williams is averaging 13.1 ppg and 2.1 steals on the season. Jamarius is a confident guard on the floor for Head Coach DJ Kelley.
Can the Swamp Foxes make some noise in Class 2A here in the next few weeks?
Gamble is a GAMER for the Bruins. Ziyon is quick end to end on the floor. He will drop the floater or stop and pop from downtown when needed. Ziyon comes up with big plays all-the time for the Bruins. Can the Bruins (16-10) make a push here in the playoffs? Gamble is averaging 8.2 ppg, 3.2 rebounds and 3 assists this year.
Price plays the wing position for the Shamrocks. Asa started off his career at Keenan HS before coming over to Eau Claire HS. He will manufacture points on putbacks around the cup. Asa has no problems taking a charge from time to time on the defensive end of the floor. He seems to be at his best when out on the wing with his good length. The Shamrocks (8-16) look to be in the playoffs with a solid region record. Price is averaging 17.8 ppg this season.
Byers is not very big in height at all, but he surely makes up for it in determination. The left-handed guard likes to penetrate-kick the gaps. He does a nice job of seeing the floor from out top. The Hornets on the season are (19-5) heading into the Class 1A playoffs next week.
Jaren is averaging 15.9 ppg, 4.7 steals, 4.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists this season. He really does stuff the stat sheet every night for the Hornets.
Coleman is a wing player for the Knights. Aaron is a nice role guy on this team for Head Coach Aric Samuel. Coleman works for everything he deserves. He will chase down loose balls, rebounds outside of his area, come up with a jumper when needed. Can the Knights get back to the Class 3A State Championship Game this March?
Danzy is over at Sumter Christian a SCACS School piling up numbers this season. AJ previously played at Lee Academy and North Central HS in the past. Danzy currently has the Bears (17-0) on the season while averaging 28.6 ppg this season.
Somero is currently averaging 20.8 ppg, 3.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds this season. The Fighting Blue Tigers won the SCHSL Class 3A State Championship a few years back. This season the Blue Ridge HS just (11-15) finished 2nd in region play. Nash has led the way all year with his scoring. He has eclipsed a 38- and 43-point games this season.
Poole is a blue-collar kid for the Knights. The left-handed undersized post does all of his work around the paint area. He has no problems sacrificing his body on the defensive end of the floor. Can the Knights make some noise in Class 1A this season in the Upstate?
