Rodney Ekwoanya Rodney Ekwoanya 6'5" | SF Evergreen Christian | 2024 State VA | 6’5” SF | Evergreen Christian
Ekwoanya is a name that has surfaced time and time again with the emergence of this Evergreen team, and he’s a prospect who has a lot of upside and can also make an immediate impact with his competitive ways. He’s an all-out high motor and athletic forward who gets up and down the floor and can play above the rim, he fights for every loose ball and rebound, he’s a versatile defender and he is consistently productive without needing the ball very much.
Elijah Adegbenro Elijah Adegbenro 6'4" | PF Fairfax Christian | 2024 State VA | 6’5” PF | Fairfax Christian
Adegbenro is one of the most exciting players you’ll come across in the entire state, as he’s a walking highlight reel with his explosive finishing ability and fearlessness around the rim. While he might be a little undersized Adegbenro is very strong and when he gets downhill he looks to find contact and finish through it, he can catch lobs and put backs and he plays with a great motor making him very productive in a number of ways.
Blake Neal Blake Neal 6'6" | PF St. Stephen's & St. Agnes | 2024 State VA | 6’5” SF | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes
Neal has developed nicely over the past few years and is one of the more productive wings you’ll come across in the NOVA area, as he impacts the game across the board and in a lot of winning ways. At 6’5” he’s long and athletic enough to attack the glass and get downhill and finish at and above the rim, he’s dynamic in transition as a finisher with his speed and he can put it on the deck and has improved his jump shooting as well.
Andy Ramirez Andy Ramirez 6'3" | SG Hayfield | 2024 State VA | 6’4” WG | Hayfield
Ramirez is a late bloomer who has waited his turn and is now reaping the benefits as one of the go-to guys for this new look Hayfield team, and he checks a lot of boxes for coaches looking for a long term wing. At 6’4” he has good size and length on the wing and is an above average athlete as well, he shoots the cover off the ball with good confidence and the ability to get set on the move and he has a ton of room to continue to develop moving forward.
Doyle Brown Doyle Brown 6'1" | SG Bethel Academy | 2024 State VA | 6’2” WG | Fairfax Christian
Brown is part of a very talented Fairfax Christian team that has been on a tear so far this season, and he has a blend of talents that makes him an intriguing prospect as he continues to develop. He’s a confident scoring guard who is always ready to let it fly and never gets discouraged at looking for his shot, he can drill it from deep and he gets to spots off the bounce and he’s a good on ball defender who moves his feet well and has the strength to keep ball handlers in front.
David Rochester David Rochester 6'8" | SG South Lakes | 2024 State VA | 6’8” F | South Lakes
Rochester has bounced around quite a bit throughout his career but he’s found a home at South Lakes who is looking like one of the top teams in the state right now. The 6’8” forward is a talented and versatile player who thrives on the perimeter as a knock down shooter, he can put it on the deck and get to spots in the midrange and to the rim and his size allows him to get deflections and challenge shots on the defensive end.
