Duft had 18 points in a tough loss to Layton but you could see how much his game has improved since the beginning of the year and his ability to hit from deep really helps him run that pick n’ roll becaus ehe can make defenders pay if the go under or play that drop coverage bad. He continues to dish the ball out well to really compliment his game as a lead guard.
Tobler has been a great complimentary player on that Farmington team that is always looking for complimentary scoring away from Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6’9″ | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT . Tobler coming in as a freshman and putting up some three’s is huge and getting that kind of experience is crucial in his development.
Atwater is staring to pick things and he had himslef a day on Friday as he went off for 24 and he was a bucket from deep as well. His rise as a PG ad shooting guard is starting to take shape as he is proving he could be a lead guard at the next level and his shooting has not suffered when he is handling the ball more, in fact he has just added more to his bag.
Highlights
Watching this kid develop has been a treat and it is great to see his coach get him in the right spots to help him have success and win games. Johnson was dominating the paint and the post and although he can play outside and play in the perimeter he has learned that he coulg make easy work of defenders down in the paint. He is a solid prospect moving forward and he could land at a NJCAA or a D2.
Bad news for 6A because everyone is starting to click over at Corner Canyon. Feroah has been finding himself in a few games as he has been a big time piece in what the Charges do and it was really good to see him get things going from deep and he has been stat stuffing all year do anything he can to help. He has size and shooting ability and will be a steal at the next level.
30 big points in a huge win where Kearns just overwhelmed Hunter. Kuang was huge and he is on the rise. He is another player that could find a home at the next level and play the 3 or the 4 depending on size on the floor.
Sometimes you need to step up in order to help your team win any game and that is exactly what we got from Daudi. he came up huge to help his team win. He has really been playing well this year but his game has elevated as of late. Could be an NWAC player to watch.
Hakim went crazy against a team that remains winless. His team post 101 points and he has a crazy 26 assist game as the state record changes hands once again but 26 assits is crazy. He also scored 23 points. Two players on the team outscored the opposing team. Hakim is a solid small school guard that can play.
