We were in attendance for each of the eight games in the main gym and below are the best scorers we watched.
Brayden Burries Brayden Burries 6'4" | SF Roosevelt | 2025 State #13 Nation | 2025 | Eastvale Roosevelt
Burries was also mentioned in our Best All-Around piece from the Take Flight Challenge but he also deserved to be on this list as he scored 26 points on 9-for-15 from the field and knocked down the game-winning mid-range jumper. There are many reasons why Burries is a five-star recruit and he showed them all in Roosevelt’s win over St. Joseph.
Jovani Ruff Jovani Ruff 6'5" | SG Long Beach Poly | 2025 State #117 Nation | 2025 | Long Beach Poly
There’s really no stopping Ruff when he puts the ball on the floor and gets into his one or two dribble pull-up jumper. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard quick stop and start ability that he uses to keep defenders off-balance and elevate into his jumper going to either hand. Ruff scored 24 points to lead the Jackrabbits to a win over Serra.
JRob Croy | 2026 | Riverside Poly
Croy has the ultimate green light and the offense to get him open shots. Those two things combined, along with his confidence shooting from deep, helped him 22 points in a win over Bosco Tech. The 6-foot-4 guard is great playing without the ball and using screens to create space and get open shots but he can also dribble his way into balanced jumpers.
Kaiden Bailey Kaiden Bailey 6'3" | PG Calvary Chapel | 2026 State | 2026 | Crean Lutheran
It only took Bailey 1.5 seasons to surpass the 1,000 point mark for his young high school career as his event-high 37 points in a loss to Redondo Union took him into the four-digit scoring column. Bailey arrived on the high school scene as a guy who could fill it up from multiple levels of the floor and he’s still that guy and will continue to be that guy.
Ty Ingram Ty Ingram 6'2" | CG Cathedral Catholic | 2026 State | 2026 | Cathedral Catholic
Ingram may be in a new uniform at Cathedral Catholic but his knack for scoring followed him from San Ysidro to Cathedral Catholic. The 6-foot-2 combo guard knocked down a game-winning corner three as time expired to help the Dons beat Leuzinger and he finished with a team-high 20 points for the game. Ingram is a downhill slasher in transition whose explosive vertical athleticism and strong frame allow him to absorb and finish through contact. Ingram also displayed his ability to knock down perimeter jumpers off the bounce.
